It had been a good and somewhat solid three months since you and the green Kai had to quickly adjust.
Not only did you now have a new roommate right next door to your own room (and a new house guest that Vegeta and Bulma were basically forced to house), but you also had to take lessons from him while helping him get situated.
It was... Rather difficult and definitely not peaches and cream.
Granted, it may have been easier if you also weren't having to keep up your usual activities. This included training with the Saiyans, babysitting the tots, helping with cooking, doing errands runs, or a mix of all of it in the same day.
And Zamasu was very particular and nitpicky, sometimes you felt on purpose, when it came to having you do things.
But, with how high his disdain for everyone else seemed to go, you could only guess that he wasn't letting on to how much he was being bothered with having to live with the so-called mortals he was supposed to be watching over.
It was rather last second, after all, but if Gowasu suggested something that Beerus and Whis also agreed to, what was a supreme Kai in training to do other than what they asked? Other than having a death wish, of course.
So, he would deal with this change. Nine more months of this would be fine, he could handle it.
Though wearing normal clothes to blend in better made him feel off, he couldn't deny that he was starting to enjoy other things. Specifically the hobbies that you shared with him.
Books, the varieties of tea that could be instant, snacks that he could enjoy, music, art, and gardening. He especially loved that, he didn't mind getting his hands dirty with the private little garden you grew. It was... Tranquil.
On the opposite side of this, the most irritating thing for the green Kai, was Goku. It was always Goku, because of his relentless MO for training and utter disregard for personal space! Even if he was trying to be respectful, it was always enough to make the kai's skin crawl with the flames of annoyance.
No, if he was being honest, the highest irritation for Zamasu was having you always pulled away from his side by all of these people.
It seemed... Suffocating in a way, but you put up with it.
Even when upset, you would give a smile.
You always smiled at one point every day, you never went a day without smiling, actually.
That was making this lifestyle worth it.

Today, you were having a peaceful morning with the green Kai. With the kids gone to their private tutoring lessons, Bulma at one of her company buildings, and Vegeta training in the gravity room, you basically had a good moment of calm.
"Your tea making skills have improved quite well, Y/N. It's not completely tasting of burnt leaves anymore."
You huff a bit loudly, glaring playfully at Zamasu's sarcasm. "You don't have to drink it, you know. I could have made a fresh pot." Zamasu's gaze slid over to you, his grey eyes shining a bit with their own amusement. "Tea is still tea. Letting one pot go to waste because of over brewing isn't something that can't be tolerated."
Rolling your eyes, you hum softly and deal with drinking your own cup, making a slight face. "I can't believe I managed to ruin a good pot of tea." "You have been rather slack on your duties, lately. Are you getting enough rest?"
You blink, looking back at the Kai once more. "Yes? I mean, of course I have.." Setting his cup down gently, Zamasu gives you more attention. "I can let you rest for the day, Y/N. You don't have to get your apprenticeship duties done today. Even as a low class angel you still need your rest as much as any other being."
