Today revolved around the intense training of both Supreme Kai and God of Destruction, as both Zamasu and Goku Black dedicated themselves to honing their skills. Gowasu had relocated them to a dormant planet where Kusu resided in solitude, awaiting the appointment of a new Destruction God.
Kusu respectfully greeted all three men, but couldn't help but maintain a cautious distance from Black. His ominous aura and mischievous glimmer unsettled her deeply.
Gowasu positioned a sphere in their midst, projecting an image of a once prosperous planet now under the oppressive rule of tyrannical leaders. "Can you perceive anything worth safeguarding for the sake of the inhabitants?" Gowasu inquired softly, as both men attentively examined the world before them.
After carefully examining the planet, Zamasu was the first to express his disapproval. He pointed out various flaws and injustices that made him believe the world was beyond redemption. Black, in agreement, added his own negative feedback, solidifying their shared belief that the planet needed to be erased.
Unbeknownst to Zamasu and Black, Gowasu deliberately withheld the fact that these worlds were mere illusions. Instead, he devised a series of trials, gradually intensifying the decision-making process, in order to provoke heated arguments between the two men.
As the intensity escalated, Zamasu made a passionate plea to save a particular planet, but Black swiftly countered with his own argument against preservation.
Gowasu intervened, putting an end to their heated exchange, and instructed them to switch perspectives.
Black found it challenging to adopt a positive perspective, as his natural inclination was to eradicate all mortals without hesitation. Each time he attempted to see the good, he struggled internally.
On the other hand, Zamasu, who had gradually developed an appreciation for the positive aspects of mortals, couldn't help but cringe inwardly at the task of solely focusing on the negatives.
This time, Gowasu presented a genuine planet that was on the brink of destruction, with only a few months remaining. As they observed this world, something caught Black's attention. "Wait... Can you zoom in on that individual?" he requested, his curiosity piqued.
Gowasu and Zamasu exchanged puzzled glances before Gowasu complied with Black's request.
All three men watched in astonishment as Gowasu brought them closer to inspect the random individual, fulfilling Black's request. Their eyes widened at the sight before them.
The individual bore a striking resemblance to you of all people, almost like your mortal doppelganger, but with noticeable differences. Most notably, she had two prosthetic legs. Despite this, she fearlessly utilized her prosthetics, valiantly fighting off a group of individuals who appeared to be part of a nefarious chop shop crew.
"Take us down there," Black demanded, his intense glare leaving no room for argument.
Gowasu complied, and the three of them materialized a few yards above the woman engaged in combat. Zamasu and Gowasu watched cautiously as Black wasted no time, swiftly joining the fray.
Zamasu, his hands folded behind his back, voiced his concern to Master Gowasu. "Are you certain it is wise to allow Black to intervene?" he asked softly, his gaze fixed on the ongoing fight as Black swiftly incapacitated the men.
"Perhaps it is, perhaps it is not," Gowasu replied, acknowledging the uncertainty. "But this encounter might be the catalyst for a change in Black's perception of mortals. It is quite a peculiar coincidence that this mortal resembles Y/N."
Meanwhile, down below, Black turned his attention to the unconscious men he had subdued, having deliberately restrained his powers to avoid causing any permanent harm. As he looked up at the woman he had assisted, he noticed her trembling frame and the piercing glare she directed at him. "I didn't need your help, you idiot!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with defiance.
