As the months seemed to steadily fly by, you were starting to dread the end of the year.
For whatever reason it may have been for, you were all currently on one of the yachts that Bulma's father just happened to own. Considering you and the other ladies of age weren't bothering to have swimwear on this trip, Roshi and part of Goku's old gang were disappointed at the lack of exposure.

Supreme Kai Gowasu had come to check on Zamasu's progress and hear his opinion on mortals now that he's had time to observe them, hoping that it had changed.

Whis and Beerus are also present, immediately expecting some kind of feast upon arrival on the moderately large private ship. And as she's always prepared, Bulma has quite the buffet spread ready to go.

"Tell me Zamasu, what has your experience taught you so far?"
As the kais stood together near the edge of the ship with their arms behind their backs in usual fashion, Gowasu asked this to Zamasu.

Zamasu overlooks the ocean calmly. "Mortals are still a sickness on the planets they inhabit... But, there are some who I suppose aren't that bad. They are a rather complicated species. However, I admit that I wouldn't have thought about them in this way had it not been for an outside influence."

Zamasu's eyes glance over towards where you are, watching you play with Pan as she decides to give you attention.

Gowasu looks over as well as he notices the distraction in the eyes of the supreme Kai in training, watching you for a moment.

"I see. This particular influence, does her opinion matter a great deal to you?"

Zamasu only inclines his head with a soft tilt. "It does... But as a Kai in training, should I allow such an influence to cloud my former judgement? Or rather, shouldn't she be able to see this universe from a different perspective, the way that I have been made to?"

Gowasu turns to him, hearing the implication in his tone. "Are you saying that you wish for her to live with us to continue her apprenticeship under you?"

Zamasu's eyes glint, having a different motive for those choices of words that Gowasu speaks of. Yes, you'd be under him, but not as an apprentice. At least, not entirely.

"Perhaps, but it would be her choice."

Gowasu feels like this is something to be wary of, but he puts faith in the judgement of his apprentice.

"Then, at the end of your year here, allow her to choose." Gowasu smiles. "It may be quite nice to have an angel to train with."

Zamasu looks at him, giving a light smile. "Yes..." With no distractions from the other mortals, too. If you could see the way the world was being sullied by mortals, then maybe you'd be persuaded to stay by his side forever.

And perhaps in time, enjoy a utopia with him where the multiverse grew beautifully without pesky mortals bringing it all to ruin.

You were away from all of the commotion of the party on the ship as everyone else enjoyed the food and fun, being on the lower deck in the dark to see the star filled night sky better.

Zamasu watches you for a few moments, taking in how your awe is always displayed when witnessing the beauty of this universe. Elegantly floating downwards, he lands behind you and gently snakes his arms around your waist, leaning forward slightly so that his chin rests atop your head.

Your body relaxes the instance he does this, before you're leaning back into Zamasu's hold with your hands resting on his arms.

Giving a low hum of approval, Zamasu watches the night sky with you for a moment, before you start to rock with him in a gentle swaying motion.
