When you and Zamasu had returned after you had a few hours to recollect yourself and brace for the possible future problems you'd be facing, you were instead surprised by the sudden turn of events.
That sudden turn was the fact that Goku and Chi-Chi had literally divorced. And it was so fast because Chi-Chi literally had the papers already signed and ready to go.
But Goku wasn't even sweating it. Apparently he knew this was coming, even if he didn't understand the meaning of a real divorce. But, he told you that ChiChi had a 'backup husband' waiting already, which explained the weird scent she seemed to have, along with the funds that were unexplainable during times when the crops weren't ready.
"Oh, don't worry! Bulma's had a house ready for me for a while now, hehe! Now me and Goten can train all we want, and Goten can get private tutoring with Trunks!"
You were glad that they had actual backups, but you still felt guilty. The only reason the mess escalated was because of you, no matter how you looked at it. And even though no one was blaming you, your guilt had you doing what you did best when upset.
Make five full sheets of brownies.
And not just regular ones. No, there were triple decker chocolate/death by chocolate brownies. They had fudge, chocolate chunk chips, chocolate drizzle, and powdered sugar.
And these would start a quick fight between the Saiyans if they weren't being monitored.
You made sure that Zamasu got to try at least two, considering the second they were out of the oven, you were almost having to literally punch Goku out of the kitchen.
Oh, and making sure that there was plenty of milk for them to enjoy with the brownies, too.
"Man, I could become even richer if you let me patent this recipe, Y/N!" Bulma says happily, enjoying the super chocolatey delight.
You laughed lightly, giving her a smile that didn't quite reach your eyes. "Maybe in the future, but you'd have to really convince me." You say jokingly, watching Zamasu with a softer gaze as he had gotten used to being around the gang better, not even being bothered by Goten basically hugging him around his neck from behind in a little brother manner.
That made you think about Gohan, who was busy with his own family and becoming a lawyer. That guilt made you feel worse all over again.
Bulma notices your look, sighing softly and gently patting your back. "How about you go and enjoy a peaceful shower? I've got this group handled."
You can only nod, giving her a slightly forced smile before you disappear towards your room, not paying attention to the green Kai whose eyes were following your frame.

You were standing under the hot water of the showerhead quietly, your mind everywhere else except where you actually were right now.
Maybe you really did need time away from earth. Focusing on helping Zamasu get closer to a highly respected supreme Kai was going to be more beneficial in the long run.
What if you had been delaying and distracting his progress? No, you definitely were. And you weren't even questioning why you were considered an angel, but maybe you should. Nothing added up to make you believe that anymore. Not even on the power level, it was much too different. Still powerfully yes, but not in the same sense.
You look at your hands, slightly rubbing your thumbs around your open palms gently.
What were you missing, exactly? Zamasu had mentioned that your memories were locked up because of meddling from your, basically, higher-ups, but...
Why?
What have you done to deserve your memories tossed away in the attic? Were they the ones who put you here? So close to Goku's home, no less? That couldn't be a coincidence...
You were so deep in thought that you didn't realize your silver eyed green Kai had joined you in the bathroom and undressed.
You were startled when his slightly cooler arms wrapped around your midsection, before you let out a soft sigh and leaned back against his frame.
Zamasu didn't speak up or question you as he let you relax against him, resting his head against your shoulder with his lips just barely brushing against the crook of your neck.
For a good moment you just enjoyed being with each other, the white noise of the shower giving you a sense of peace. You start to trail your fingers along the muscles of his biceps before caressing your thumbs over his knuckles.
Giving a low hum, Zamasu removes his arms from around you and gently has you turn around to face him fully instead, gripping your chin between his thumb and index finger softly. Looking you over softly as you stare up at him, a soft smile gracing his lips.
"I love you."
Your cheeks heat up hotly as this simple sentence from him means more than anything to you, your train of self doubting thoughts completely derailing.
He's said it many times before, but this time... It felt different. It was so soft and gentle, but full of intense passion.
And then, he said it again after placing a soft kiss to your temple.
And again as he places a kiss on your left cheek, and then on your right.
Down your jawline, on your lips, along every part of your neck.
Everywhere his lips traveled, so did a compliment of why he loved you.
This was going to be very long, but the most passionate shower you've had so far.
*****
You were now in the greenhouse to tend to your plants, your mood almost a hundred times better as Zamasu made sure you were 'out of it'.
Chuckling softly at your literal glow, Zamasu helps you with your gardening before he softly caresses your stomach when your skin is exposed.
"Maybe a child wouldn't be the worst thing to happen.." He says in a soft and teasing manner, but it's enough to make you nearly fumble and drop a potted plant you were caring for. Smirking as you glare at him shyly, Zamasu merely acts as if he hasn't done anything to make you clumsy, before his eyes narrow and he's looking towards the outside of the greenhouse with a soft huff of annoyance.
You blink, before you feel the energy sources that were arriving suddenly.
Whis, Lord Beerus, and Gowasu.
You could only wonder about what they wanted.
