Your date with Zamasu went by smoothly and romantically, if you voided the random gang of muggers who thought you two were easy targets just from taking a walk in the park.
It was humorous in a way, as the both of you did a reverse mugging to said muggers.
You two took a detour to turn in the gang and stolen belongings to the nearest police station, before heading to a place you haven't been to in a while.
Zamasu gives a soft hum in your ear as both of you fly to your destination, his hand caressing your lower back softly. You try to keep from shivering, kissing your Kai on the cheek instead before speeding away from him in a playful manner.
Chuckling softly, Zamasu chased after you, the both of you playing a game of tag through the early night sky.
You might have scared the passengers on a commercial airplane during your game, but you two were gone before they could figure out what had happened.
A few moments later you had made it to the first spot you two had spent alone time together almost a decade ago.
As you touched down on the cliff that overlooked the undisturbed lake, your gaze softened.
Still left untouched, and flourishing with more plant life, the lake was as beautiful as ever. You close your eyes, enjoying the breeze that came through before Zamasu is wrapping his arms around you from behind.
You rest your arms over his, rocking gently with him for a moment. "Nothing's changed, but it's still amazingly beautiful." You say, tilting your head back and smiling up to your grey eyes Kai.
Zamasu smiles down at you softly, holding you closer. "I can say the same about you, my rose." Your cheeks warm up and you giggle, enjoying the soft kiss he presses to your lips before he hums. "Oh, that reminds me... Would you like to hear a poem? And don't worry, it's not that bad."
You raise an eyebrow, smiling a bit more at this, considering Zamasu didn't usually recite such things. "I would love to."
"In the realm of hearts, where love's flame ignites,
A tale unfolds of a woman's radiant light.
Her presence, a symphony, a celestial song,
A love so fierce, it could never be wrong. Her eyes, like stars, twinkle with pure grace,
Guiding my soul through life's intricate maze.
Her smile, a sunrise, painting the skies,
Melting my worries, unveiling paradise. Her touch, a gentle breeze, soothing my soul,
Healing wounds untold, making me whole.
Her laughter, a melody, enchanting and sweet,
Filling my world with joy, making life complete. In her embrace, I find solace and peace,
A sanctuary where all worries cease.
Her strength, a fortress, unwavering and true,
With her by my side, there's nothing I can't do.Through life's storms, she stands tall and bold,
A beacon of love, never growing old.
Her love, a flame, burning eternally,
Igniting my heart, setting my spirit free.In her presence, I am a better man,
For her love, I'll do all that I can.
She's the muse that inspires my every rhyme,
A love so profound, transcending all time.In this ode to her, my love forever blooms,
A testament to the depth of our love's fumes.
For she is the woman who holds my heart,
A love so strong, never to depart."Your face is on fire by the end of Zamasu's poem, and you're quite pleased by what he's said. Enough to be shying up and looking away in embarrassment. "I.. I-I wasn't expecting that.."
Zamasu chuckles softly, nuzzling his face against the crook of your neck. "Well, our children did help with choosing some of the words used." He moved his arms to softly run his hands up and down your arms. "It's been about a year since we wrote it, considering it was more for the Earthlings tradition of Valentine's Day."
