Today, was supposed to be a good day. The snow had almost completely melted despite it still being winter, and even though it was freezing the sun was out in full. So, this prompted you to get Zamasu out of the house since the both of you were honestly getting antsier than even Vegeta (but he was a solitary fighter and never wanted to train together with anyone. Against everyone was a different story).
But, you ended up having a little purple haired straggler that wanted to train too. You didn't mind, and Zamasu reluctantly gave in because of your whispered persuasion of 'a private massage session'.
You should have known that Goku would be on the way from his family's farm considering there wasn't anything for them to do until spring, and in turn it was a family trip because of Goten also wanting to go and Chi-Chi wanting him to study.
"Are you guys sure that you want to play this game?" You asked, smiling as Zamasu let out a soft sigh while standing beside you.
Goten, Trunks, and Goku all nodded enthusiastically at the game you were implying, and you rolled your eyes playfully. "Alright, but don't get upset if you get hurt."
The Game was Cat and Mouse. Except that the cat in this game was a ki blast formed by you and Zamasu. It was as large as both of your bodies put together, purple in color with ribbons of red and blue swirling around it. It acted like a hunting beacon towards the Saiyans, and their part of the game was to basically not get hit, or at least force it to self-destruct. They couldn't hit it with their own ki blasts, because that would make the cat much bigger and target who it came from.
Of course if it became too much to handle you or Zamasu could destroy it, but that's only when the trio would hit their limit.
And that limit today after just three hours was Chi-Chi, who had managed to find you all after taking the truck and driving it over to your location.
She was overbearingly nagging Goten and deeply criticizing Goku for just doing what they're naturally born to do, which was basically getting stronger and letting out pent up energy through means of heavy training.
You tried to see this from her viewpoint as being a human woman worried about her super strong boys hurting themselves, but you could also see that Goku was trying not to seem stressed out by her yelling at him.
So, you decided to step in to diffuse this situation. You didn't like how it seemed to get worse because of Chi-Chi's stressful yelling, and you honestly wanted her to calm down before she had some sort of aneurysm.
You just didn't think she'd hate you so much to badmouth you the instant you came to defend Goku and Goten. Zamasu instantly was ready to deal with her, but you knew Chi-Chi a bit better than he did, so you asked him to calm down with a gentle and pleading look before you tried again. "Chi-Chi, can you please calm down? We were all just training like usual, and no one is hurt. So can you please just lower your voice and breathe?" Despite the freezing cold wind, an unnatural wall of flames seemed to come from the woman.
Chi-Chi wanted to be the winner in this, no matter how petty the reason for the situation. "And what would you know about having to raise a hardworking family, when all you do is act like a squatting home wrecking harlot?! I know your games, that's why I won't ever trust you alone with my boys!"
Everything coming from her was uncalled for, but you kept a straight face while standing in front of her. That didn't mean you kept your thoughts filtered. "Why are you so insecure, Chi-Chi?"
And with that, you set her off worse than you'd ever seen.
"Because you're a whore! Don't think that I don't know about Goku leaving in the middle of the night to go see you on more than a few occasions! And then to have the audacity to be brought back to the house in his arms!-"
