Coming Back With A Surprise

(A/N: I couldn't think of a good title)

Bulma was humming lightly as she stood outside on her balcony the day after the party. The sun was just starting to set, and despite you and Zamasu not having returned yet, she knew that the both of you were in the hyperbolic time chamber.

And since you were, Goku immediately took up the extra space in your bedroom to wait, because he knew that doing so meant you had been training for an entire year! And if you wouldn't spar with him, then he'd definitely find a way to convince Zamasu to!

Bulma sighed with a shake of her head at that, sipping on an ice cold drink in her hand. Everyone else was also buzzing with excitement, she couldn't deny that, but sometimes their excitement to fight or spectate was too much.

She looked down as she saw Goku hurriedly rushing out and starting to stretch in the yard, followed by Goten, Gohan, Trunks, and a cranky Vegeta. And then everyone else who was also still residing at the house. It didn't take long to see why they were filing out, as her gaze lifted up towards the sky once she saw two figures coming down. And she instantly recognized you and Zamasu, and the more than noticeable changes at that.

Leaving the balcony, she's the last one out of the house to greet you and Zamasu, but considering Zamasu's rather tight headlock on Goku (again), she decided to greet you first instead as you stood off to the side with a smile greeting everyone else.

But, she had to stop and do a doubletake as she noticed more of your physical features.

Your hair was longer than it had been yesterday, and your skin was glowing gently. Not to mention that some of your features are much softer looking now, and that your hips look wider.

And that your hands were slightly resting on your stomach, which was rounder-

"AHHH!!"

Her scream got everyone's attention, and you smiled warily as you realized that she had been the one to notice first, right off the bat.

Bulma zoomed over to you quickly, there being both disbelief, happiness, and shock, and a bit of anger, all in her expression at the same time.

Drink forgotten as it smashes on the ground, Bulma is quickly grabbing your shoulders. "Y/N! How far along are you already?!"

Your cheeks burn as everyone else starts to catch on, and immediately notice, that you indeed have a softer and wider stomach slightly hidden under your clothing.

"U-Uh, well... Just... Four and a half months.." You mutter, feeling embarrassed at being the center of attention. Zamasu is quick to let go of Goku and gently wrap an arm around your waist, slightly shielding you from everyone's disbelieving screams of shock and awe.

Bulma, Videl, and young Mai are squealing happily at the news, already ready to go shopping for baby everything's with you, as the guys are having mixed reactions and questions.

"Congratulations!/ I knew that was going to happen!/ You put a baby in Y/N, Zamasu?/ How do you end up growing a baby when you were training?/ Training wasn't the only thing they were doing, obviously!/ I'm not babysitting again!/Zamasu, you fox!/ I hope you cleaned up the hyperbolic time chamber for the next person to use!/I'm going to be an uncle! Yay!/I can't wait to fight the baby!"

You covered your face in complete embarrassment, Zamasu scowling with a ton of red also covering his cheeks. "Would you all be quiet? Honestly! And you aren't fighting Y/N or our unborn child, you idiotic mortals!"

Bulma clears her throat loudly, smiling happily. "Alright everyone! Obviously we need to let the parents-to-be relax and unwind, so you all bother someone else or each other for now!"

You let out a sigh of relief, letting out a slight oof when Goten suddenly jumps up to give you a happy hug with his arms around your neck. "This is going to be so cool!" You can't help but laugh a bit, gently hugging the little half Saiyan back and patting his spiky haired head. "Yeah, but I won't actually be able to do a lot of the usual things soon enough."

Zamasu sighs softly, already rubbing your lower back in gentle circles. "We need to get you off of your feet first before we discuss anything else, my rose." You smile shyly, nodding and letting Goten so he can stand on the ground instead.

After taking a nice relaxing shower and putting on comfier clothing, you find yourself relaxing outside with everyone on Bulma's balcony.

Or at least, you were in a chair and basically having an audience of the little tykes feeling on your stomach. "Your stomach is already pretty big at just four months, did you eat a lot?" Trunks asks, Zamasu's lower eye twitching at the offhanded fact that the lilac haired boy commented on your weight. You try not to laugh, covering your mouth a bit. "Kinda, but I am eating for three at the same time."

You hear a few excited gasps, but also a lot of choking from the others.
"Twins!?!"

"Wow Zamasu, you were really going for it huh?"

"Shut up before I decide to add another tally to how many times your mortal life has ended, Yamcha."

Goten's eyes were sparkling like mad as he stared at your stomach, and you swear if he had a Saiyan tail it would be wagging with enough force to dent an army tank.

You can't help but smile, looking towards Goku as he was the next to crouch down near your stomach with his arms crossed, a curious look on his face. "I wonder how strong they'll be, considering they'll be half Kai angel things and half gods or goddesses, right?" You blink at that, rubbing your cheek a bit in thought. "Oh, that's true..."

You pondered, not knowing what to expect before shrugging with an innocent smile. "Considering they're growing at the rate of a regular mortal pregnancy, we'll just have to wait and see."

Goku grins, before he's standing up with a serious look aimed at Zamasu. "Take care of my sister, got it? Or else you'll be dealing with me."

Your eyes widened a bit as Goku calls you this, and you feel a fluffy part of your heart get gushy. Zamasu however feels offended at the fact that Goku assumes the worst of him in a way, narrowing his eyes. "Of course, which means I'll be keeping her away from your stupidity."

Everyone swears that there's a large strike of lightning going between the Kai and the Saiyan's eyes as they glare at each other for a second, before you laugh.

They both break their glares instantly, having different looks of softness at seeing your smile.

They were going to have to get along to keep you happy.
