~~Marie~~

Marie wasn't sure what to think, parts of her struggling inside her as she sat curled on the grass. She'd... really liked that growl he'd made, the wild look in his gold-rimmed eyes. It had made a shot of arousal fill her, but then followed by a cold icy feeling as she remembered the touch that had come from arousal before.

She hated feeling this weak, that her own reactions triggered her trauma. Why couldn't she just be normal? He didn't deserve someone as broken as her... he deserved someone who would be capable of helping him, and of touching him without shaking as she fought against horrible memories

"Marie?" Wolf said gently against her shoulder.

She looked over to him, and inhaled softly when she saw the concern on his face. "What?" She said in a whisper.

"You're shaking. Why are you shaking?" He asked quietly. He frowned, a soft whine coming from him. "I didn't scare you, did I?"

"No..." Marie shook her head, tears stinging at her eyes. She laughed weakly at herself as she reached up to wipe them away "you didn't scare me."

"Good." Wolf said with a soft sigh of relief. "I don't want to scare you."

Marie gave a soft smile and glanced over to him, seeing a sad look in his eyes. It was strange... how human and emotional he was, considering he was supposed to be a wolf. It was like he was an entirely different person from Damien, with an entirely different personality. Still sweet, though. Also still sad.

"What do you like doing for fun?" Marie asked quietly.

Wolf looked up at the question and gave a soft shrug. "I've never really done anything outside of the full moon."

Marie sat up further in shock, making him lose balance and fall into her before quickly sitting up. "You haven't been out at all?" She said in horror.

"Damien just learned that I can talk like a human." Wolf said with another helpless shrug. "So he didn't let me out. He thought I was a wolf."

Marie remembered earlier when Damien had been so hesitant of letting him out... and that the last time he had, Sebastian had gotten bitten. "Can I ask why you bit Sebastian?"

Wolf looked rather guilty from the question. "He was trying to kill me. They did all kinds of things. Spells... potions... really painful potions..." he shuddered at the memory.

He went silent for a moment as if listening to something, and a little smile came to his face. "It's fine, you didn't know. Just... don't do it again." Wolf said quietly,

"Were you talking to Damien?" She asked curiously.

Wolf nodded, looking back over to her with a little smirk. "We switch places when I'm out. Now he's the voice in my head." He tapped his temple with a wry smile.

"I wonder why you're so different from other werewolves. I've never heard of one talking before." Marie said thoughtfully, turning to look up at him. He was in Damien's body, but the telltale golden rim to his dark eyes was the sign that Wolf was in charge at the moment. Besides his demeanor. He didn't hold himself as tall as Damien did, and tended to lounge about rather than look civilized.

"I'm not sure" Wolf shrugged. "I know it's easier to talk the closer to the full moon it is. I feel pretty tired during new moons."

"Interesting." She said thoughtfully. "So the full moon makes you more alert?"

Wolf nodded. "It's like I can think more clearly. Otherwise everything feels fuzzy." He motioned his hands around his head as if he was in a fog.

"I wonder why that would be..." Marie said, looking over to him curiously. "What are full moons like for you?"
