~~Damien/Ronan~~

He could hardly believe this had happened, the intimacy between Marie had made his heart pound with emotion, the warmth in his chest blossoming even more as he set her down gently against the ground, smiling when her legs buckled a bit before she got her balance.

"That was..." she blushed so adorably when she gave him a bashful look, and that little smile she had on her face made him want to just grab her all over again.

I'm so glad I stayed awake for that. Ronan whined happily inside him. The new moon is done at least

True, the new moon had been last night, which was why Ronan had been silent. Now he would be slowly starting to wake up. But for now, he could sleep again.

Ronan gave a soft whine again as Marie hugged Damien, resting her cheek against his bare chest affectionately.

He ran a hand along her back, smiling down to her warmly before they shared a look that made her blush again and chuckle softly.

"I feel like a school girl all over again." She confessed with a little giggle.

He chuckled and reached up to run a hand through her brown hair, savoring the soft feeling of the long locks through his fingers. "That's fine, because I feel like an awkward teenager again." He confessed with a wry smile.

She giggled happily again and he found he loved the sound, her laughter bringing him such a sense of satisfaction. He'd do anything to see her laugh and smile.

"We should probably get going, I suppose. The sun will be setting soon." Marie sighed reluctantly.

He glanced over to how low the sun was in the sky and saw she was right. Damn.

"Well luckily we'll have lots of time other days." He said with a bit of a wicked smile. He saw her look up to him in surprise and make another bashful smile before nodding.

Yes! She'd agreed!

She let go of him so he could pull his shirt back on, Marie buttoning up her corset again with a bit of a blush at how many buttons had been undone. Once she was done she walked back over to him to give him another hug, humming happily against him as he smiled down to her.

"So affectionate, ma chère." He said softly, but honestly he loved it.

"Yes well... it was a big step." She smiled against him before moving away again. "Hopefully one of many."

His breath caught at that, and he felt like he wanted to let out a loud shout into the air in joy. The sound that came out of him next wasn't at all human, but he smiled when it made Marie shiver a bit with a flustered look.

He was just about to mount his broom when he saw a silver light in the sky, frowning at the sight and putting his broom away as he moved to Marie protectively, standing in front of her as the light dove towards them.

"What is it?" Marie said in alarm as light approached, until the swirling sphere of silver light condensed into a form, a jackrabbit stomping its foot against the air angrily.

"GET YOUR ASSES BACK HERE BEFORE I BRING THIS WHOLE DAMN CITY DOWN!"

Damien was thoroughly confused for a moment as Ominis' voice came from the patronus, but it was definitely not the cobra he was used to. Wait- was that Ariadne's patronus?

But something had happened- and no sooner had he registered that there was trouble than Marie gave a shuddering breath and immediately apparated.

He was stunned for a moment that she had used magic, but quickly put his broom away again. He needed to send a message of his own!
