you lost me once, don't lose me again.

João's POV

it was game day, we were going against south korea and i was a wreck, cassie had to calm me down this morning.

i left the hotel nervous.

once we got there we warmed up, i was worried because south korean a good team

it was 9:50 and everyone starts taking there seats in the crowd i look up at the crowd to find cassie, she was there giving me a thumbs up and blowing kisses.

that made me feel better and the game was starting

Cassie's POV

5 minutes into the game and ricardo scores, i jump out of my seat cheering.

27 minutes into the game korea scores making them tied.

91 minutes into the game and korea scores, portgual lost.

i looked at cris and he was devastated, i looked at joão and he was upset, gio, junior and i quickly ran to the tunnel and i see joão walking in.

i try giving him a hug but he walks off. what the fuck?

"hey joão no hug?"

"cassie just leave me alone" he doesn't turn back and keeps walking, i scoff walking torwards gio and cris.

cris was hugging gio and she was comforting him. cris looked at me and hugged me

"it's okay cris you did good." i say hugging my brother

i came to joão's hotel room and he was in there laying in bed.

"hey joão, i missed you"

he ignores me

"joão?"

"what."

"hey why are you mad at me?"

"i'm not."

"joã-"

"can you just shut up?!"

i was in shock

"excuse me?"

"just be quiet." he stands up

"don't talk to me that way. it's not my fault you lost against south korea!" i shout at him pointing my finger at him

"it's not my fault either!"

"well who was playing? huh joão?"

he went slient

"i cant be with you right now." i say walking past him grabbing some clothes.

"where are you going?"

i ignore him

"ANSWER ME!" he grabs my arm

"don't you dare touch me."

he starts yelling about things and says something so awful

"sometimes i wish i never met you!"

i froze, tears started to fall out of my eye.

"you don't mean that."

"no actually i do."

"you lost me once, don't lose me again." i say looking into his eyes.

"calm down and talk to me like the grown man you are." i say slamming the door, i didn't know
where to go.
