i was at cris's house and explained everything to cris and gio, cris was so disappointed with how joão acted, i mean who wouldnt?

i laid in bed all day, i felt a little sick, i wasn't sure why but i guess it's all the stress i've had lately.

my mother came over to see what was happening, i heard the front door open and heard a familiar voice, it was my mommy.

"onde está minha linda menina?" (wheres my beautiful girl?) i hear her say walking up the steps, she opens the door and her face softens
"Oh minha garota" (oh my girl) she says sitting in the side of my bed and caressing my face
"minha doce menina linda" (my beautiful seeet girl) she softly says

"mãe eu sinto falta dele" (mommy i miss him) i say on the verge of crying

"eu conheço meu amor, mas você conhece seu pai e eu tivemos algumas complicações, mas ainda estávamos juntos" (i know my love but you know your father and i had a few complications yet we were still together)

"mas ele me traiu!" (but he cheated on me!)

"seu pai me traiu, ele me deixou por outra garota, mas ele voltou" (your father cheated on me, he left me for another girl but he came back)

"he did?" i ask

"yes meu amor, e eu suponho que João fez isso também?"(yes my love, and i assume joao did that too?)

jenna was coming over today, she wanted to make me feel better as i told her i felt sick, i knew she thought it was about joão, i didn't want to make jenna sick but she demanded that she would come and make me feel better

cris and gio were out doing whatever they were, and the kids were at my moms house, my mother asked if i wanted to come but i told her jenna was coming over.

i was on the couch and heard the door bell, i ran to open the door and jenna was there with fruits in her hand, she always bring fruit when she comes over and i love it.

"i brought fruit!" she smiles

i grin and open the door wider

"damn you look disgusting" she giggles walking into the kitchen setting down the fruit

"no shit jen"

"so how's everything?"

"i don't know, im just trying to get through" i weakly smile washing the four she brought

"so how's are you feeling? like your sickness"

"uh i don't know, like i'm throwing up a lot and i don't wanna get out of bed and you know" i say placing the chiet into a bowl and serving it

jenna looks at me weridly, she's up to something

"what?"

"you know what?"

"what?"

"your pregnant" she deadpans

"jenna again?" i laugh

"no i'm serious!" she says grabbing fruit

"i'm not pregnant jenna, i told you once before"i pop a fruit into my mouth

"when was the last time you had sex with joão?"

"can we not talk about him?" i plop onto a chair

"cassandra i'm serious!"

"ok ok, uhm a few weeks ago? i'm not sure!" i laugh

"cassandra this isn't funny!" she looks at me

"okay okay!" i stop laughing

"do you have a pregnancy test?"

"i don't know, this isn't my house"

"let's go shopping"

jenna and i come back to the house with a pregnancy tests in the plastic bag, we both run upstairs to the bathroom.

"okay pee in the cup then put all 3 of them in the cup and let it absorb then come out"

"why are you an expert at this?" i side eye

"shut up cassie" she hits me and leaves the bathroom, i close the door and take a deep breath.

after doing everything i was told to do i came out and jenna was on her phone.

"i'm done" i say holding the 3 tests in my hands

"now we wait"
