chapter 13- It's In The House

Chapter 13

"Stop" i whisper "it's in the house." i tell them hopping they would stop, i need them to, they both looked at me, then back at each other. 

"Give me the gun" Dean whispered to Ryder, trying to keep quiet. 

"No" Ryder said louder, i couldn't stand here and watch them do this, i needed to get Jennie, make sure she's safe.  I walked quietly upstairs. i didn't know where the thing was, and i didn't want to find out. 

"Wake up" i whisper to Carrie and i told her to be quiet and she nodded, i walked over to Jennie. she looked so peaceful, i almost forgot about waking her up. she never looked this at peace unless she was asleep. 

"Shhhh, don't speak, don't scream......be quiet" i whisper and she nods and grabs my hand as i slowly walk down to see them continuing to fight before the power went out making us all stop.

Scared i looked at everyone behind me to see they were feeling the same. what am i going to do. we all just froze in fear as everyone looked at me. 

footsteps became louder as it moved in the house.

I signal with my hand to tell everyone to follow me as we hid behind the kitchen counter, the front door was where we needed to go......one by one they quietly got to the door, when it was jenny's turn we saw a huge claw making me pull her back as we hid, hearing it try to smell us, i felt tears go down my face, from across the room i saw Dean on top of Ryder hiding behind the couch, i looked at Dean we shared a look letting me know we will get through this. his eyes gave me comfort as he tried to knock sense into Ryder, somebody needs to. Ryder wasnt thinking stright

I squeezed jennies' hand as i was scared as it inched near us, thunder boomed, and lighting lit the room. sweat dripped from my face, I was scared to the point of shaking, this was the day i die. and i wasn't ready, the only thing I could think about was i missed my family, and i needed them here with me. 

The sound of a bottle falling on the ground made it look away from us and follow the noise making me sigh.

"Go go' i whisper as she ran to Carrie, i looked back at Dean and he nodded making me go, he had Ryder under control, i needed to get everyone to safety, we parked the car a few feet away, and I couldn't see very well since it was dark and rainy, but I sighed when I spotted the car as everyone was getting in.

I was about to get in the car when i realized something.

"Ellie, what are you doing...get in the car" Lydia said scared, i looked down to see the tires were slashed.

"What the hell" i say as i looked down.....how the hell were these things smart enough to do that.

"Ellie! Run!" Ryder yelled running out of the house with Dean behind him with the things running after them.

"Everyone out of the car!" "Hurry!" i say as i grabbed Jennie's hand and we all ran as it stormed and hard to see.

"Get to the road!" i yell at Carrie. she could get everyone to safety, if i can't, she can. 

"What!" Carrie yelled. we could barely hear each other. 

"The road!" i yelled again as it was hard to hear over the rain and thunder.

A gunshot went off making me jump. no. Ryder. he filled my mind, i couldn't let him die, even if he hurt me, i can't lose him, i won't lose him.
