"ji are you okay? you look tired." felix asked as minho and jisung sat at their table.

"i'm fine, just didn't sleep well." jisung shrugged.

"no like, you look mentally tired."

"lix, i'm okay. thank you." jisung nodded.

"ji its not like you to keep stuff from us so i'm a little worried. i know something big definitely happened. but we respect that you don't want to talk about it. just remember we're always here for you. we love you." hyunjin smiled.

"thanks hyune." jisung gave a small smile. "i appreciate you guys."

"always ji." hyunjin blew a kiss to him.

"so...anything good happen recently? more specifically between you two." felix asked.

"what are you on about?" jisung gave a tense smile that screamed please shut the fuck up.

"you know how people are nowadays...falling in love...making babies." felix shrugged.

"not us." jisung shrugged.

"minho you're awfully quiet." changbin pointed out.

"i mean...nothing has happened." minho shrugged.

"you sound upset about that." chan eyed him.

"let minho and jisung be." jeongin sighed.

"fine, sorry." felix put his hands up as if to say he surrenders.

"anyways, our lovely week long fall break is coming up. i assume none of us want to see our families so i thought we could spend the holidays together!" jeongin smiled.

everyone agreed, nodding happily.

"my parents have a cabin in the mountains. we can stay there together for the week. just hang out and drink." changbin suggested.

"yes, let's do it." felix was the first to agree.

"he heard drink and his mind went blank." seungmin rolled his eyes.

"it'll be fun! the cabin is huge, there's plenty of space for all of us." changbin added.

"i'm down." minho nodded, everyone agreeing.

"i'll let my parents know. i am not trying to be harassed by my uncles about when i'll get a girlfriend." changbin chuckled.

"just tell them you're gay." felix shrugged. "you're an adult. they can't do anything."

"lix you know it's not that simple." jisung sighed.

"you're right, i'm so sorry. not everyone is lucky enough to have an accepting family. y'all deserve the world. im sorry." felix felt terrible for his lack in judgment.

"it's okay." changbin smiled softly.

"hang on...i need to answer this." jisung sighed as he answered his phone. "hey...dad." he spoke hesitantly.

"where the fuck is she?" an aggravated voice questioned.

jisung didn't say anything, too scared to reply.

"i asked you a fucking question!" duri raised his voice.

jisung let out a shaky breath. he didn't know how to answer him.

"are you going to fucking answer?"

"what are you talking about dad?" jisung found the courage to ask.

"your mother is gone. where is she?" he spoke after he took a deep breath.

"why would i know?" jisung asked.

"you know what? i'm not playing this game. come see me after your classes."

"i'm busy today." jisung replied.

"you can either get un-busy or i'll get you un-busy." duri replied.

"dad, i really cant." jisungs voice was pleading with him.

"that's okay. i have a way to get you here." duri responded calmly.

"wait!" jisungs heart pounded in his chest. "i'll cancel my plans. i'll be there." his voice wavered as he spoke.

"good." duri responded. "if you don't show up, i will find where you are. and i'll drag you here myself."

"i'll be there." jisung mumbled.

"i'll give you half an hour after your classes end to get here. you know what will happen if you're late." duri reminded, ending the call.

"oh my fucking god." jisung felt like the world was closing in on him. he felt like he couldn't breath. he was suffocating. "oh my fucking god!" he threw his phone onto the table.

"ji? what did he say to you?" felix asked.

"no. no no no no." jisung shook his head.

"ji, calm down." minho spoke calmly even though his gut twisted with worry.

"i c- i cant. i cant escape." jisung choked back tears.

"here, drink some water." minho gently held his water bottle to his lips.

he held the water bottle as jisung took a drink. he gently grabbed jisungs hand as the man closed his eyes, trying his best to take slow and controlled breaths.

"ji i'm going with you." felix spoke calmly.

"no. you know that will make it worse for me. i have to go by myself." jisung shook his head.

"sung..i really don't want you going there alone." minho shook his head.

"i..i can't bring anyone with me." jisung shook his head.

"ji he'll kill you if you go alone." minho scooted closer to him.

"i think you should let minho go. he's a boxer." chan spoke.

"minho you can't protect me from everything. he's going to hurt me with or without you there." jisung subconsciously squeezed minhos hand.

"but if i'm there i can beat his ass." minhos eyes plead with jisungs.

"minho i can fight this by myself." jisung tried to convince himself.

"jisung there's nothing wrong with needing help." minhos face showed little emotion but his eyes, oh his eyes were begging jisungs to let him help.

"hyung..." jisung let out a shaky breath as he looked into minhos desperate eyes. "fine. you can come with me. but only step in if i really can't do anything, okay? promise me."

"i promise. i understand you want to fight this alone but i absolutely can not let you do that. that man is dangerous."  minhos voice filled with the slightest hint of desperation.

"thank you." jisung had a prominent frown on his face.

"seriously. thank you minho." felix spoke. "thank you for always looking out for him. i know he feels like a burden, so thank you for reassuring him he's not."

"always." minho nodded.
