Vivian pov:
Its a Saturday and Collin told me to get my shoes on cause we are going to the park.
I'm currently putting on my shoes and tying them quickly. I head downstairs to see him on the couch waiting for me.
But also reading the romance book I've been reading lately.
The summer my life began.
It's amazing.
"How can you read this? It's cringy" he says as he sees me walking over to him.
"I happen to like it, thank you" I say as I take it from him.
"I hate the mother and the grandmother"
"Everyone who has read the book does."
"Let me guess... you fell for the guy?"
"Of course I did. He's H.O.T" I explain.
"He's okay, I guess."
"Ha! You approve" I say as I smile happily.
"I guess, when's the wedding?" He asks as he smirks at me. I roll my eyes.
"Not for awhile playboy" I say as i put the book in the book shelf to read for later.
"Playboy?" He asks with his brow raised.
"How about pretty boy?" He smirks.
"No, I don't like it" I respond.
"But you like me" he says as he leans closer to me.
"You wish" as I hold in my breath and try to concentrate on anything else but him being so close to me.
"I already did. And it came true" he replies and I blush.
"See? You're blushing. I do things to you" he says as he holds my hand.
I try my best not to squeal.
"Whatever" I say as I let go of his hand and walk outside. I stop holding my breath and breathe.
He was right. He does do things to me.
We get into his car and drive to the park.
"So.... any plans for Christmas?" He asks me and I shake my head no.
"No, not really" I respond and he nods.
"You spending it with us?" He asks me.
I nod my head.
"Yeah, I don't plan on going back home. I was... actually going to ask Carrie if I could live here until I turn eighteen"
Collin glances at me and then back at the wheel.
"Would you be okay with that?" I ask him. He nods at me.
"Yeah, sounds good" he says as he parks into the park driveway.
"You sure? Collin, if you want me to go-"
"No, it's fine, you don't have to leave" he replies and i smile at him.
"Okay" I say as he gets out of the car.
I'm about to open my door, but he runs over and does it for me
"Haha. Too slow" he replies with a smirk.
"Acting romantic colin?"
"You know it princess" he says as he smirks.
I roll my eyes as I smile at him.
"Swing race?" He says with the smirk still on his face.
"You're on" I reply as I smirk back at him and run to the swings. We both get on the swing and start swinging high.
"Loser buys dinner" he says going higher.
"Okay!" I say as I go higher.
"We jump on three" he says as I nod.
"One" he says as I laugh.
"Two" I say as I get ready to jump.
"Three!" We say at the same time as we jump. I hit the ground first.
"Ha! I win! You have to buy me dinner" I say as I stick my tongue out at him.
"You won't find me complaining princess I was going to pay for it either way" he says smirking.
"But that wasn't the deal"
"I know. I don't do Deals"
"But you are the one who came up with it!"
"Exactly. My game, my rules."
"That makes no sense." I explain and he looks at me.
"How so?" He asks me.
"You can't just make a deal with someone and do the complete opposite of what you agreed on"
"Uh, I can"
"You should be sued"
"For a game summers?"
"Damn right"
"You are too much" he says.
"But you love me" I say as I grin at him.
He looks at me with those beautiful eyes and doesn't say anything.
".....you okay?" I ask him.
He nods at me.
"Ready to go?" He asks me.
"Yeah, let's go" I say as I nod.
We get in his car and head to a restaurant.
A Chinese restaurant.
Yum!!!!
I get out of the car and he opens the restaurant door for me.
I smile brightly at him as I walk inside.
After we get what we want, we start eating.
After I'm finished, I look over to Collin who's still eating. I laugh as I see sauce on the side of his mouth.
His eyes gaze into mine curiously as he lifts his eyebrows confused.
"You have a little bit of sauce on your mouth" I say as I giggle.
I take a napkin and wipe the sauce off his mouth.
He looks at me shocked.
I smile softly at him as I take a sip of my water.
"Viv" he says softly and I look at him and raise my eyebrow.
"Yes?" I say back and he leans towards me.
My heart starts beating faster as I look at his face.
Is he trying to kiss me?!
I lean closer to him to help him out.
His lips brush against mine and I smile brightly.
Waiting for his lips to touch mine.
"Excuse me, would you like the check?" The waitress came up and asked us.
We nod and grab it. After Collin pays, we leave the restaurant.
Not saying anything about the kiss that was about to happen.
I can still feel his lips brush against mine.
It gives me butterflies just thinking about it.
We get home, and Collin goes upstairs to his room.
I look down as I begin to think he regretted that it almost happened.
I really like him....
But is he playing with my feelings?
He told me that he isn't like that...
And I believe him.
So is he just shy??
Does he think I hate him?
Does he hate me?
I overthink too much.
I need to cut it out.
End of chapter.
