Throughout her life Sylvia worked constant shifts. Making the money for what was left of her family. Her little sister and mother depended on her. Sylvia always felt pressured. Never mess up, or else your sister and mother will be on the streets because of you.
Sylvia never felt a moment of peace or ease in her life. It didn't help that back at her old school kids were making fun of her for not having a father figure. That and how her apartment back at her old place was too much to afford was the reason why she decided to move.
Moving to Reseda was one of her best choices ever and one of her worst. There in the valley Sylvia made friends. Real friends. She learned how to defend herself and stand up for what she thinks is right.
Though as the saying goes. Everything good must come to an end.
