The next day Sylvia went to work and skipped the restaurant shift because she heard sensei bought a device that looks like it's for baby's so of course she wanted to see that. "Hey sensei, this better be good I skipped work for thi-" Sylvia says as she walked in but stopped and looked up. "Oh wow ok" Sylvia mumbled and sat down on the couch. "No Sylvia, get your ass up and hold Miguel if he falls" sensei calls her over. Sylvia sighed and got up. She stood next to Miguel ready to catch him.
"Ok ready to stand? 3 2 1 go" sensei counts down and lets go of the rope. Sylvia felt Miguel's legs buckle and all his weight fell into her arms. "Shit" Sylvia groans and quickly sat him down. "Alright better fall that time. Let's take five." Sensei said and walked to his fridge. "Sylvia help me" Miguel groans as he pushed his way to the computer. Sylvia complied and pulled him there. The computer had a novel of words on it.
"You writing a novel?" Miguel asked. "Oh. No, it's a Facebook message" sensei replied and sat down. "No, no no to who?" Sylvia shakes her head. "Babe from high school. Ali" Sensei answered. "Ali? Like the Ali?" Miguel asks. Sensei nodded. "This is huge! This is huge. This is so huge but I mean you're not gonna send that, right?" Miguel asked.
Sensei looked around confused. "You cannot send that message" Sylvia firmly states. "Why not?" Sensei asked. "Because it's like 80 pages" Miguel replied. "In all caps." Sylvia adds. "I have 35 years worth of stuff to say, all right?" Sensei said and twisted the computer towards him. "Ok, yeah yeah yeah. But shorter messages are way cooler. Like this just looks desperate and a little creepy." Miguel said. "Yeah, like if you sent this it would be like you liked all her photos" Sylvia replied. Sensei looked at us with THAT face. "Oh no" Sylvia and Miguel groans. "Oh no." Miguel said again but louder.
"What the hell man? I enjoyed the photos!" Sensei defends. "And there's a button for exactly that, why would I not click on it?" Sensei said. "Because she can see that." Miguel replied. Sensei sighed. "All right, I got amped up, ok? Look she put a smiley face. It's even got little red cheeks" Sensei looks to them.
They went on another field trip around L A. Even ran into Tory and a sushi restaurant. Well Miguel and Tory are officially, officially over. "How about a sunset or a beach picture that would be so much better than this." I said and looked around. We drove to the beach. "Ok just look at the sunset" I said and aimed the phone up. "Oh this is bad" I mumbled to Miguel. "Ok alright that's enough it's my turn!" I yelled out.
We are back at sensei's apartment doing the baby thing. They got into a fight but Miguel was standing. "Am I doing it?" He asked. "You're doing it." Sensei answered and stepped back.
After a lot more standing I left to the rink. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I checked it. "You have 283 likes on your new post" from insta
