Chapter 20

{season 2 episode 9}

Miguel👽: hey Moon is having a party later do you have to come

Sylvia: I'll ask my boss if I can leave early, but I still need to take care of my sister

Miguel👽: I can ask my grandma to take care of her. If your boss says yes I'll tell Hawk to pick you up.

Sylvia: ok ok I'll go ask give me a sec

Sylvia was sitting leaning on the couch next to Aisha. Sam and her Miyagi-Do people walked in and there was a lot of tension. Sylvia took a sigh as Moon went up to Sam. Sylvia looked around and they were still staring. She got up and went outside. Sylvia saw Tory on a stool and Miguel behind. She walked up to them.

Sam and Tory are now, not surprisingly competing against each other. Everyone is chanting. After maybe 3 rounds Tory asked for vodka.

Tory glared at Sam when she drank the vodka. "You got this Tory!" Stingray calls out. Causing Tory to look at him loosing balance and falling. Sylvia caught her before she could hit the concrete too hard. "Guess somebody couldn't hold their liquor, huh?" Sam grins.

"Tory are you okay?" Miguel asks. "I'm gonna go clean up. Just leave me alone."

"She'll calm down" Sylvia mumbled to Miguel. Sylvia glared at Sam. "My turn" Sylvia smirks.

The people around her set up the stool for her. Sylvia confidently stood on it picking up her foot as a guy gave them both a shot.

After a few rounds both of them weren't letting up. Sam was the one that called for vodka now. Sylvia was always a heavyweight. She felt confident. Sylvia downed the vodka and smashed the cup on the floor. Sam hesitantly brought the cup to her lips and drank it. Sylvia could tell she was feeling woozy now.

After the next vodka shot Sam fell. "Woo!" Sylvia yells. Hoping down from the stool. After a few hours everyone was pretty drunk but still fun. Sylvia was standing with Hawk and Aisha outside.

"Excuse me!" Everyone looked to the stage. Demetri was standing there holding a microphone. "I'd like to make a toast. To Eli Moskowitz. Oh, I'm sorry. Some of you might know him as Hawk. But underneath that crazy clown cosplay and whatever type of Manic Panic he dumps in his hair, he's still good old Eli. My binary brother."

"Well, he was my binary brother. You know what he is now? A real zero."

"All right that's enough Demetri" Hawk calls out. "Don't let that angry red hairdo fool you. He's a big softie. We watched every Harry Potter movie together. And he bawled like a baby when Dobby died." Demetri imitates fake crying. "All right if he doesn't shut up, I'm gonna shut him up." Hawk says to Sylvia.

"Hawk. Remember what Sensei said about showing mercy"

"Have any of you heard of sleep enuresis?" Demetri asks staring directly at Hawk. "Demetri, don't." Sylvia says firmly.

"That is the medical term, of course" Demetri ignores her. "I'm the kinds English, it's good old fashioned bed wetting. And Eli here is a pro."

Sylvia could feel Hawks anger from standing next to him as everyone laughed. "My mom even had a special air mattress for sleepovers. And she called it. Eli's water bed."

"Screw mercy" Hawk says and handed Sylvia his cup. She groaned and watched as he walked towards Demetri. "You're a corpse!" He yells. Robby and other people from Miyagi-Do stepped in front of them. All of a sudden there was police sirens and red and blue lights. "Cops!"

"Demetri, you got lucky. I'll see you in school!" Hawk yells as Chris and Robby push him back. "Hawk, come on let's go!" Sylvia yelled to Hawk.

Sylvia jumped into his car as he turned the engine on. Miguel ran towards them and jumped into the back and then they drove away.
