{season 3 episode 3}

Sylvia waited outside for sensei but he didn't show so she just went by herself. Some lady brought her to a room with a bunch of tables. Sylvia saw Robby and a bald guy sitting in front of him. She walked up to them. "Hey, who are you?" Sylvia asked. Robby looked up surprised Sylvia was there "I'm Johnnys friend, your Sylvia right?" He asked. "Yeah, yeah that's me" Sylvia nodded. "Is Johnny here, he said he's brining you so he has to be here" the guy asked. "No, the guy stood me up. Is he not here" Sylvia asked. "He's not coming. I knew it." Robby mutters. Sylvia salaries at Robby. She noticed how his hair was slicked back and there were bruises on his face.

"Can you give me a moment" She mutters to Johnnys friend. He nodded and got up. Robby stared at her as she sat down. They really didn't know each other but Robby was grateful someone came to visit him. "I uhm I'm sorry you're stuck in here" Sylvia fiddled with her fingers. "I probably deserve it." Robby replies.

"No, I can tell it was an accident. Plus Miguel woke up. He's getting surgery on Friday for his legs."

Robby nodded and looked down. "How's Sam?"

"Sam is fine. Worried about you probably." Sylvia answers.

"Why are you here Sylvia?" Robby asks.

"I'm here cause I want to be. Your dad cares about you and it's obvious. Something must've happened."

"He's never shown my whole life he couldn't come this one time?"

Sylvia bit her lip nervously unsure what to say. "We all got daddy issues huh?"

"Hey Miguel! How was the surgery" Sylvia asks. "No one knows if it actually worked" he answered. "Oh well that's wishful thinking" Sylvia sarcastically mutters sitting down. "Are you back in school?" He asked. "No, I just am too scared to quit my job you know my paychecks aren't balanced they change all the time" Sylvia answered. "Maybe I'll go when you go" she adds.

They talked some more and when Sylvia left she went to work. The rest of the day was normal and boring. Next day same routine but add the pho restaurant.
