{season 4 episode half of 10}
As Sylvia was talking with sensei she noticed how Robby and sensei were eyeing at each other. When everything ended and people started going home. Sylvia snuck to Tory and hugged her. "You where great!" Sylvia exclaims and let go. "Thanks! I'm sorry you didn't win." Tory put a hand on her shoulder. "It's alright just enjoy your night queen cobra" Sylvia winks.
Sylvia was driving home with sensei. "Hey, you did great. Getting to the finals is huge." Sensei tells Sylvia as she grips onto her second place trophy. "No one wants second place." She scoffs.
Sylvia got quiet when they saw Cobra Kai empty and sensei decided to go in. Sylvia waited outside and walked around the plaza because he was taking forever. She replayed that final point moment in her head over and over again. Sylvia did slight motions with her hands that could've stopped it. "Hey. It's uhm late. We should be getting back" Sylvia opened the door and saw Robby. "You're right." Sensei nods. "Are you crying?" Sylvia asks as they walked out.
Sensei got into the car and Sylvia stood by it with Robby. "Are you gonna be ok?" She asks holding onto his hands. "Yeah, of course I am" robby replies. Sylvia smiled. They leaned in for a kiss. Sylvia didn't know how much she needed it. When they pulled away it was because of sensei honking. She snickered. "See you" Sylvia smiles and got into the car
After a long conversation / lecture about Sylvia dating robby they finally got home. Well they walked into Miguel's apartment first because they heard some frantic Spanish. "What's wrong?" Sylvia asks as they walked in. Miguel's grandma gave her a piece of paper and she started reading it. "Mom, I'm sorry for leaving a note like this, but I thought it was the best way, maybe the only way to say what I have to say. The last few month have been a roller coaster. My injury, rehab, me and Sam, sensei and mr LaRusso. I convinced myself that I could get over all of that by focusing on the tournament. I thought that if I won that everything would work out. But I was wrong. Tell sensei I'm sorry that I bailed. His karate helped me grow, but I'm still not sure who I wanna be. And to figure that out, I think I need to know where I came from. Sensei was scared to find out the truth about his past, and honestly I am too. But overcoming that fear is the fight I have to face. Instead of competing for a trophy. I need to meet my father. This is something I have to do. Please try not to worry. I'll be safe and I'll be back soon. And please take care of Sylvia even though I know she can do that herself. I heard she got second, I know how much she hates losing. I love you mom. And yaya too." The note read. Sylvia didn't even realize her eyes were watering. Knowing Miguel, a teenager is out there by himself all the way in Mexico. Is terrifying. But her, she doesn't cry or at least fight not to, so Sylvia just blinked it away.
When she got home, Sylvia immediately went into her room. Tory called her and said how silver paid the ref. Tory apologized over and over and over. Sylvia felt like balling up and just sobbing but she stayed strong. Said it was okay. Why is there always so much things going on.
