{Season 4 episode 3}
They mostly trained on the new deck but right now it was lunch break. Sylvia didn't have anything because one, she didn't have time and two, just too much food to make lunch. "Sylvia you don't have anything to eat?" Miguel asks. Sylvia sat down next to him back against the wall. "Nope, didn't have time to make lunch. Got home even later than usual because some bitch kept complaining about how I didn't add enough blue to her drink." She scoffs at the memory takes a sip of water.
"Where do you work?" Sam asks from next to Miguel. "At the 'most famous bar in L A' " Sylvia rolls her eyes. "So it's always packed even at 2 in the morning"
"Here have it" Miguel hand his sandwich. "Thanks" she smiles and takes a bite
After training they went to LaRusso's for dinner. Sylvia sat at the dinner table, her head tilted back onto the chair with a baseball cap over her head. Sleeping. Probably, needed sleep. Mr. LaRusso cooked the pizza and sensei went over to put the vegetables in a plate.
"Uh, what the hell are you doing here?" Anthony came out of nowhere and asked. "I was invited. Who the hell are you? Wait are you the son? What did you do switch to Whopper Juniors?" Sensei asked. "It's called a growth spurt. Dipshit" Anthony said. "Hey kids! Dinner!"
Sylvia woke up to Miguel sneaking behind her and scaring her awake. "Holy shi-" Sylvia stops herself from swearing before she gets scolded. "You dropped this." Miguel laughs picking up her hat. "Yeah, haha." Sylvia snatches it back.
Sensei and Anthony sat next to her. Sam infront of Sylvia with Miguel next to her. Sylvia turned over to Anthony. "Are you still causing problems for Kenny? Because this would be the perfect time for me to tell your dad" she whispered. "Uh- no not anymore" he said. Sylvia hummed. "Ok, if you say so." She shrugs and turned back forward. "So how's business" Carmen asked.
"Uh the dealerships been the best it's been in years. It should practically be on autopilot by the time Sam takes over. Right?" He said and looked at her. "You're gonna take over? That's awesome." Miguel said. "Nah, it's just an inside joke. When Sam was little, she used to walk around like she owned the place." LaRusso said. "Yeah well can you blame her? She was practically raised in that showroom floor. Almost born on it too" Amanda jokes.
"Whatever Sam wants to do with her life, that's entirely up to her. If she decides to go to school nearby get her MBA. USC. UCLA, I'm just saying. It's all icing on the cake." LaRusso said. "So Miguel, how's school going?" Amanda asked. "Uh, good. Uh great actually" Miguel said smiling. "Straight A's this semester" his mom added. "Yes a total nerd." Sensei said. "See with grades like that you can go anywhere you want." LaRusso said. "Yeah I'd uh like to go to Stanford." Miguel mentions.
"That's a pretty impressive school." LaRusso replies. "Yeah I think it's like number six in the country. The campus is beautiful" Miguel said nervously. "It's definitely a top choice but that tuition, wow. We're also thinking about Santa Monica college right Miguel? Save some money, live at home, then see where we go from there." His mom said. "SMC's great too. It's right by the beach. Have you checked out their campus?" LaRusso asked. "No actually, I-I-I haven't" Miguel stuttered. As he reached for the spoon to grab more salad he knocked over a cup of wine into Mr LaRusso.
"Oh, oh mr LaRusso, shit! Ah, I mean I'm sorry!" Miguel stutters standing up. "No don't worry about it. Please. Just a little wine right?" He replied. Miguel slumped back into his chair. "So uh, where do you plan on going Sylvia" Amanda asks me. "Oh, uh I don't really have any plans for collage. It's really expensive" Sylvia shrugs. "Well I'm sure your parents are gonna help you with that right?" She asked me. "Oh- uhm yeah they probably will." She answers.
After dinner Sylvia went home with sensei. She checked her phone to see a text from Kenny. He has been texting recently but he said everything was going good. "Hey Sylvia it's me again. I went to visit my brother in juvie he said to go to this place called Cobra Kai. I'll tell you how it goes." Kenny said. Sylvia widens her eyes and immediately started texting back. "No please don't go there. Their really bad people and you will turn into one too." She pressed send but it just read delivered.
Next day at training they were stretching waiting for Mr LaRusso to come. "Dude, you spilled a glass of wine. So what?" Hawk asked. "I don't know man. You should've heard the way Mr. LaRusso was talking about Sam's future. I can't even afford a car let alone college. What if they think I'm not good enough for her?" Miguel asked.
"Dude. You're El Serpiente. You're an All Valley champion. Just show Mr. LaRusso what you're made of. I know you're gonna crush whatever he throws at us today." Hawk said. "Yeah compared to Sensei Lawrence's training, today's gonna be vacation." Assface / penisbreath snickers.
Mr LaRusso walked up behind Hawk and others. "Who's going on vacation?" Mr LaRusso asked. "Uh no one. What have you got for us today?" Miguel asks. "Come here" LaRusso waves them to follow. They followed and walked to the pond.
Nobody caught a fish. The prize is someone gets to buy the gatorade flavor and leading class for a week. They all got out the pond half wet. Miguel fully wet. After Sylvia changed into shorts she checked her phone. No text from Kenny or Tory. Sylvia did ask her about Kenny.
After practice Sylvia was supposed to go home with Miguel but heard he has car troubles so she went with LaRusso. He brought them to the dealership. Sylvia got a text from Kenny. "Sorry I've been MIA but Cobra Kai didn't go good. Robby is teaching me some karate. That's good." He texted.
"Wow Robby huh? I'm sure he will take care of you just don't turn into a bully promise? Just use those moves to defend. I did that and nobody's messing with me now." She pressed send and this time he actually read it.
They got into the dealer ship and Sylvia had to wait for Miguel to fix his car and mr LaRusso taught him how to. "How much longer?" She whined. "Don't worry maybe half a hour" mr LaRusso said. After A HOUR they finally got home. She rushed into her apartment grabbing all her stuff to go to the roller rink. Sylvia was late but didn't want to rush Miguel and Mr LaRusso.
She ran out the apartment just to see sensei and Carmen making out. Mentally cringing Sylvia ignores them. Next day Miguel really became zen and caught a fish. He even earned a headband like Mr LaRusso's.
