Chapter 46

{end of season 5}

Sensei told Sylvia to go over to Miguel's house to eat dinner. "Hey sensei" she said as he opened the door for her. "Hey Sylvia come in" sensei opens the door more. "You know I really can't, need to get my job back at the roller rink. I've been slacking I actually just got fired a few hours ago so, I'm gonna go" Sylvia ranted.

Of course she lied. She knew Robby was in there. Sylvia just went back to her apartment with Tory who came over.

The next day Sylvia got herself another job to go to before the bar shift. The boss at the bar surprisingly didn't give a shit.

She has been hanging out with Miguel more because he's like her therapist. "Miguel I don't know what to do."

"Hey at least you're not the only one that's depressed, Robby has been acting cold" Miguel replied. "Why did you break up with him in the first place if you're gonna be so sad" Miguel asked. "I can't tell you why" she quickly responded.

Miguel dragged her over to Miyagi-Do to train or something. That was an actually a good thing so Sylvia didn't lay in bed all day. She walked over to Miguel, Hawk, and Demetri to stretch. "Hey" Sylvia lightly smiles and stood next to them.

"Hey so I heard you broke up with Robby?" Hawk asked. "I rather not talk about it" she hissed
"Jeez ok can't believe you even dated him in the first place" hawk mumbled "what happened to your hand?" He asked. "I punched a pole" Sylvia answered. "You punched a pole?" Demetri asked. "Yes I did. I punched a pole."

They talk about Miguel and Sam. Until this guy, pretty sure is Mr LaRusso's friend called them over. They were training with him today. He pulled out eggs. They each took one and had to protect the egg from him.

Sylvia went inside with the egg. She sat down against the wall thinking. Would silver ever get caught? Would she ever get back with Robby? Shit.

Robby came in, what luck. "Hi" Sylvia smiles lightly. "Hey, so where did you hide your egg" he asked. "I'm just gonna hold it" Sylvia answered. He sat down next to me.

"So what really happened to your hand?"

"Well I could lie and say I punched a pole. But I'm not. And I'm not gonna tell you the truth either" she shrugs. "Why?" He asked. "Just... it can put you in danger" Sylvia tried to simple it down but maybe that was too much. "What? Put me in danger?" Sylvia glanced slightly at him, his eyes turned wide. Sylvia looked outside to see the instructor break an egg. "I think he broke your egg" she pointed out the window.

Sylvia walked around the hut and found Sam hiding in the corner. "Hey Sylvia where's your egg?" She asks. "In my pocket" Sylvia answered and went to grab it. It wasn't there. "Shit." She mumbled.

Sylvia went to the group of losers. "How he get you out?" Hawk asks. "Stole it from my pocket."

Soon enough Miguel and Sam came to the loser pile and they had to try again. Anthony made this plan to work together. They put all their eggs in a hat and lined up infront of it.

Of course Anthony just sat around the egg while everyone else defended. But you know that's ok. After about a minute the instructor gave up.

They practiced some kata. "Sylvia. come here" he said or more like hissed. She shared worried glances with the people beside her. Why'd he sound so angry? She walked out of the circle and went to him. "What wrong?"

"You are better than this. What is holding you back?" He asked, his accent cutting through each word. "No nothings holding me back" Sylvia defended. "You are obviously troubled" he crossed his arms.
