Sabo opened the door that lead to the main deck of the ship. The Hummingbird was currently docking onto the big ship that lay next to the fort. Sabo looked at the crew.
Inej, Lorelai, Alina, Mal, Nina, and Zoya stepped off the hummingbird. Sabo stood there for a moment, observing the group. Alina was overjoyed while holding hands with Mal. Mal looked off as if he felt like he wasn't supposed to be there and Nina looked at him wearily.
Inej and Lorelai were talking with each other. Lorelai was wearing a red dress and her hair was up in a bun.
The moment their eyes met, a smile appeared on her face.
'Sabo!' She called as she ran toward her. Sabo embraced her.
'Thank the Saints for you and your friends from Ketterdam!' Lorelai smiled. 'We wouldn't have survived without you guys.'
'And here I was thinking that you didn't like them.' Sabo smiled.
'I'm warming up to them.' Lorelai smiled as she pointed at Inej.
'So, she's one of your friends from Novyi Zem?' Inej asked as she joined them.
'One of them.' Sabo smiled as she looked at Inej. 'I'm planning on taking you to the other one.'
'Where is Shana?' Lorelai asked her with a hint of uncertainty in her voice.
'Shana is on the ship, but before you go to her, I think Inej should go first.'
Inej and Lorelai frowned at her.
'What do you mean?' Lorelai asked as she looked toward Inej.
'I'll explain later, can you wait for me here? Inej and I need to talk.'

As Sabo and Inej walked away from Lorelai and the others, Sabo was getting nervous.
'So,' Inej said as she walked down the small stairs. 'We're finally going to talk?'
'Yes.' Sabo said as she walked in front of her. 'I'm sorry that I've been avoiding you. I just wanted to be sure.'
Inej frowned at her. 'To be sure about what?'
Sabo turned around and took a small step toward her. Sabo gently grabbed her hand and gave her Shana's necklace.
Inej looked at the necklace in shock. This was the last thing she had expected to talk to Sabo about.
She had expected something else, another topic, another confession.
Inej her breathing quickened as she held the familiar material. She looked at the necklace depicting Sankta Arabella.
'She's- she's dead isn't she?' Inej trembled.
Sabo furrowed her brows, suddenly realizing she was not doing this in the most ideal way.
'What? No, no, Inej she's alive. She's here.'
Inej looked up at her, her eyes glistered. 'She's alive?'
Sabo nodded. 'Turns out, she's one of my friends from Novyi Zem.' Sabo confessed. 'You've already met Lorelai. She and Shana have been living in Novyi Zem together.'
'Shana?' Inej frowned. 'Who's Shana?'
'Sorry, I- I know her as Shana. We all know each other by aliases. They know me as Sabo and I know them as Lorelai and Shana.'
