Alexei (third) P.O.V.

It's Friday and Alexei was walking towards his locker, just wanting the weekend to come as soon as possible. He planned to ask Mr. Edwards permission to take Colleen away for the weekend to meet his family later in the afternoon. But just as he arrives at his locker, Arianne came running with a frantic look on her face.

"Colleen is gone!" Arianne exclaimed. Alexei felt his heart drop.

"What do you mean gone?!"

"I don't know! I just got a text from her this morning saying that she's going away and she doesn't know when she'll come back. I've been calling her since then but she won't answer her phone." Arianne explained.

"Do you think it's because of them that she ran? I thought she's fine?" Alexei felt frustrated. He brushed his hair with his hands. What the hell, Colleen?!

"That's just how Colleen is. She will never tell you what's bothering her. She's used to solving everything by herself. You don't know how much it frustrates me that she won't even tell me what's wrong most times. She always carries the burden alone! ARGH!" Arianne was stomping her foot, mirroring Alexei's frustration.

"Well, do you know where she went?" Alexei asked.

"All I could think of is France. That's where his dad's business trip is. She might have gone with him. I've also been calling Mr. E but his phone is off too..." she trailed off, pressing several buttons on her phone.

But Alexei wasn't listening anymore. As soon as Arianne said France, his attention went to his own phone and he started scrolling through his contacts until he found the name he's looking for: Uncle Robin. He reassured Arianne that he'll get Colleen back before bidding her goodbye, oblivious to the change in Arianne's facial expression. He pressed the call button and waited for his uncle to pick up the phone. After a few rings, his uncle's voice greeted him.

"Hello? Alexei?" he could hear the confusion on his uncle's voice.

"Hi old man, I was wondering if I could borrow your plane...?" Alexei asked unsure. Calling his uncle an old man wasn't a great idea right now but he hoped that his uncle would let it pass.

"What?" asked his uncle. By the tone of his voice, it seemed like Alexei told him he's an alien rather than asking him for his private plane.

"I need to go to France." Alexei explained the situation to his uncle who agreed immediately (or after a lot of begging and reconsideration).

"Is this the girl who you courted with ten million dollars?"

"Ah, yes." Alexei rubbed the back of his neck. Thank God, his uncle can't see him blush.

"I take it you really are serious about her, aren't you? You've never done this before. This girl must really be special for you to do such things. Now I really want to meet her."
