Third person POV

The wedding was being held in a catholic cathedral located in the heart of Ikoyi: Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic church. The Range Rover Jeep which was decorated in magenta, gold and white ribbon carried the bride in it. Mabel's palms became sweaty when the car came to a halt right in front of the church entrance.

Ada who sat beside her noticed her uneasiness and intertwined their fingers, giving her a reassuring squeeze. Mabel returned the gesture with a nervous.

"Hey," She whispered as their eyes locked. "Remember, walk into this with your head up, your mind open and your heart half open."

Mabel gave a curt nod before sighing deeply. She knew she had to walk into this being the Mabel that she is, the best version of herself. That's the reason she wanted to be brave by walking in heads up.

"Let's get married!" Mabel giggled and that earned a smile from Ada. The driver who had alighted minutes ago, got the door.

The bride let her feet touch the floor before she pushed her whole frame out of the car, Ada alighted after her arranging her dress once she was out of the car.

The other cars that carried the rest of the bridesmaids and the bride's family also stopped behind, while the people in it alighted.

No doubt, every one of the bridesmaid was extremely beautiful. Their dress was simple yet elegant and had an element of sexy in it. They all wore magenta lipstick shade contrasting with Mabel's nude lipstick.

The father of the bride approached his daughter, his beautiful wife following behind him. Mabel's father wore a Purple Armani tailored suit with expensive shoes and wristwatch. Her mother on the other hand wore a beautiful dress that was made of lace, her hair was adorned in a matching gold hair band making her look even younger. She headed into the church first with her sister.

Benjamin came to his daughters side, Mabel linked her arms with his after her veil had been covered by him. The bridesmaids arranged themselves in two's. The huge doors of the church opened as they entered, dropping petals on the aisle.

The groom stood at the altar, restless even though he tried to hide it, checking his wristwatch for the
tenth time. He sighed when he saw the bridesmaids entering, it made him a little more anxious and nervous knowing that the bride would walk through those doors soon. The bridesmaids took a seat in the front pew by the left.

The huge doors of the cathedral opened again and the orchestra began to play the wedding chorus and the whole congregation stood to their feet, eager see the bride as they all wore smiles on their faces.

The bride, Mabel took her first steps carefully, led by her father. She entered with confidence, had an aura of elegance and was undeniably beautiful.

Jason's gaze landed on the bride who was barely half way through the aisle and he was mesmerized.

Mabel gasped, when her eyes landed on her groom.

Their eyes locked.

Mabel's POV

I'm actually doing this. I told myself when we stood in front of the door after the bridesmaids had entered. We were up next.

My heart beat increased when the large doors opened again, I could hear the melodious piece being played by the orchestra to usher me in.

"Trust me."My dad whispered and I wanted to believe him and nod my head.

Taking deep breaths, and exhaling sharply I steadied my gaze on the church, rubbing my free palm on my dress.
