Mabel's POV
Our room was dark, dimly lit up by the coloured night light. If only we were like every couple, this night we would make love.
I sat at the dressing table applying cosmetics to my oval face. The day felt short and now a long night was here.
The door of our room creaked open and I could perceive the faint smell of his cologne, so I knew it was him.
"Hey." His voice was low an evidence of tiredness but it still had sexiness in it.
"Hey. How was today?" I wasn't going to ask but I remembered my duty as a wife.
"It went pretty well."
I'm sure it did! Mine went well, shopping with his mom was a huge distraction from last nights event and a mind opener too.
By this time, I stood to my feet. When I turned he was nowhere in sight and I heard the sound of water splattering from the shower.
Last night we had a deal, one that I knew will be difficult to keep. I wasn't sure I could go three months without sex not because I couldn't control it but because he is irresistible.
It wasn't just me. I knew my plan to make him want me worked because he was hard. I promised myself to dress as sexy as possible. I'd make him beg for it, and still take it away!
When I heard the shower stop I got into position. Placing my left leg on the bed, I applied some drops of oil on my palm and rubbed it between my fingers before I massaged my legs.
I stole a glance at him which he noticed and I saw that he was shirtless and dripping too. This is simply torture but two can play the game!
"Isn't being dressed like that against the rules?" I quizzed stopping for a moment.
He flexed his arms and his biceps moved. I watched the drop of water trickle down his hard tanned chest and I knew I wanted to run my hands through it, kiss it dry and leave my marks all over him. My gaze strayed to the the white towel that hung loosely over his waist. His waistline was so evident and my mind wondered for a second what was under his towel.
His arms were folded. "You never agreed to my terms and conditions, so..."He shrugged.
Why didn't I accept it! I couldn't afford not to dress half naked and I knew I would eventually cross the line.
"Right." I smiled, feeling defeat. "I guess we're even."
He sure damn knew what he was doing parading our room in his towel and I was constantly showcasing my skin to no one in particular.
"You must be warming up to my mother."
He was wearing sweatpants which was a wrong choice because I could see his...even his chest was exposed.
"She's really sweet."
"Hmmm."
"What?" I snapped.
"It's just strange to see you two getting along."
My teeth bit my cheek on both sides as I tried not to be upset.
"Well unlike some people, I'm open hearted enough."
He nodded, but I knew he disagreed.
"Okay, it's good to know that you're better than me in a way."
Wow! He put it out just like that. I ran my hands through my scattered hair, disheveling it the more.
