Chapter Four: Meet the Parents

Error's POV a few weeks later

I sit with Nightmare in the meeting room. His tentacles sway as he taps his foot anxiously, tapping his fingers on the table. I hold his hand to calm him.

"ReLaX, n1gHty. iT iS oKaY."I tell him

"Is it? They've never done this before so why are they doing this now?"He asks

"I haVe a f3eliNg i kNoW wHy tHeY wAnT pRiVat3 m3t1nGs. JuSt tRy t0 caLm d0wn s0 y0u d0n't fr3ak ouT."I tell him

He sighs, nodding.

Then the door creaks open with Horror popping his head in. He was the first to arrange a meeting. I can see his big red eye tremble as he gazes at Nighty. His hand slips up to pick at the hole in his head, a nervous habit of his.

"HoRroR w3 talKed aBoUt y0ur sKuLl piCk1nG."I say

He stops as soon as I say that with a nod. Then he glances behind him and smiles, bringing Farmer in to sit across from us. I smirk, knowing where this is going now.

"So umm, this is F-F-Farmer. Farm, y-you k-know w-who t-they a-a-are..Umm.."He says, nervously trying to stutter through his words

"Yes, I am well aware of your friend here."Nighty says sternly, crossing his arms.

I see how nervous Horror is and frown.

"Is there something wrong that you both need to discuss?"He asks Horror

Horror opens his mouth, then shuts it. Farmer holds his hand, rubbing his knuckles to calm him.

I reach to Nighty, softly petting his tentacles so they lower down and relax. He glances at me, seeming clueless. He leans towards me.

"Is something wrong?"He whispers

"Ke3p y0ur tEntAcLes l0w. Y0u'Re mAk1nG h1m n3rv0uS."I whisper to him

He nods, refocusing on Horror as Farmer whispers to him. I pull his arms apart so he doesn't look so intimidating and more open to conversation. He clears his throat, catching the couple's attention. I elbow him, seeing how alarmed Horror is.

"What's the reason for this meeting?"He asks the couple

"I'm his boyfriend."Farmer says bluntly

"WHAT?"Nighty snaps

I facepalm, shaking my head.

"NiGhTy..."I groan

"He wanted to tell you and properly introduce the relationship. Well, he read a lot of books on dating in your library and saw that it's common to introduce families or parents, so he set up this meeting."Farmer says as Horror clings to him after Nighty's outburst.

"Horror, how did you get books from my library?"He asks

"You knew Glitchy?"He says, looking at me in shock

"Yeah, we knew Error is aware and would help regardless of how you react."Farmer says, petting Horror's head to calm him.

"Horror?"Nighty says, catching onto how he is reacting

"YoU kn0w h3 d0eSn'T liKe yELliNg, NiGhTy."I sigh, shaking my head at his confusion to how shaky Horror is

Horror glances over at Nighty curiously, hugging Farmer close.
