Chapter Twelve: Intruder

Error's POV an hour later

I smile happily as I listen to each of their tales on how they got here, content with having them here with me and getting any needs they have met. Dream is very quiet but I assumed he dozed off like Horror did with Farmer leaning on him. They're adorable like that. Then it grows quiet and with the mirrors I could see anxious concern growing on their faces.

"So....Who is going to tell him?"Lust asks

"TeLl mE wHaT?"I ask

"Error, this isn't all of us. According to Dream, Perl opened a portal to get to you and Dream went after your brother through it. So, he could be here."Killer says

"It didn't look like one of Perl's usual portals, yet he went through without hesitating."Dream says

I frown, shaking my head.

"I aM hAvInG a sEr1oUs tAlK wiTh h1m lAtEr."I say

"What would be the worst area for him to be in?"Classic wonders

Blue stands up, approaching a mirror.

"We will each take a few mirrors to search a ring. We'll find your brother, Error. Just tell us where to start."He says

Dream, Killer, Classic, and Lust each take position in front of different mirrors. I nod, taking on the task of searching three rings while they each search the other four using the mirrors.

After a little bit of searching, Blue starts clapping his hands.

"Found him! And he has certainly been busy in the Gluttony Ring!"He says

I swipe the mirrors to see what he does. I feel my body relax as I let out a sigh of relief, seeing that it is him with a few changes to his appearance. He has a thin tail like mine and has two dark wings with a horn sprouting on his head. He wears a long coat around himself that is bright red with some yellow stitching.

"That looks like the Love Sector up above. That must've been his virtue."Blue says

"Pfft. He doesn't seem so virtuous about that right now!"Killer chuckles

He is right. Wearing the clothes marked of love, he is viciously tossing other demons around and beating them violently into the ground, stopping any who attempt to get the jump on him. So violent with the only look from him giving them hostile rage instead of friendly love. Ironic. He screams and shouts things to them that I cannot hear, taking out something from his pocket. A picture of me.

"He's on the hunt for you."Blue says with a smile

"Now you see here is why we don't ever get on Paps' bad side."Killer says

"He wOn'T hAvE tO hUnt mUcH lOnGeR."I say, snapping my fingers.

A servant runs in and quickly obeys the command, taking a group to get my brother. Soon after the group left, I feel something curl around my leg and hear loud purrs. I glance down, able to see Perl cuddling my leg. I smile, petting him gently. I see how tired my friends are. I have my strings pick up the sleeping couple and get up to leave the room. I've been blind for a long time before getting those glasses so I can handle some time without them.

"LeT's gEt y0u aLl iN sOmE rOoMs t0 rEsT. I wiLl tElL yOu iF aNytHiNg ChAnGeS."I tell them

I hear footsteps follow behind me as they sleepily hum in agreement. I find the guest rooms in this place and put Horror and Farmer in one, then guide them each to the other ones to make sure it isn't occupied for whatever reason. Once done, I go to my room to rest.

But that doesn't last long for me. Not when there are pounding knocks at my door.

"Sir! Please get up! We have an issue and need your guidance! May I come in?"A voice asks
