Chapter 57: Romance is Dead

Error's POV two days later

"So what is new with you?"Lust asks

"Oh y0u kn0w, tHe uSuAl cHa0s."I say with a shrug

He chuckles, nodding and I take a sip from my drink.

"How's the marriage going?"He asks

"GoOd. AnD h3 acCePtEd Dr3aM;s rElAtiOnShIp aS a b0nuS."I say

"Wooow! That's nice."He says

I notice a ring on his finger.

"YoU'Re eNgaGeD?"I ask

"No...It's just a promise ring to make our relationship clear. Our third anniversary is on the horizon. Can't wait to treat Dance to something special."He says with a happy sigh

I smile, happy for him.

"Is Nightmare getting comfortable in the relationship now? More bold and experimental?"He asks

I glance at him and he chuckles.

"Some will hold back out of caution in a relationship. Don't want to go too far a threaten the survival of the relationship. But over time, they will get more comfortable and try to push things, be bolder than they would've before. And given how Nightmare is so careful with you, I wouldn't be that surprised if he is reaching this stage."He tells me

I nod.

He chuckles, shaking his head.

"He is certainly creative with his solutions!"He says

I nod, feeling my ring gently. Then a glass filled to the brim with a clearly alcoholic beverage is slid across the counter to me. I glance over, and see a man waving at me with a goofy grin. A furry, random monster. I roll my eyes, continuing to sip my chocolate milk with my rings and crown in plain view. Simply said, back off.

But it's not that easy. Never is.

More glasses get slid over and I ignore them, not even glancing over while I chat with Lust. I even try to make the point by having the bartender dump the free drinks or take them away since I am not having them. But they keep coming. Lust checks a few with a wristband that he has or just glance at them and dumps them away, saying that they were spiked. Then I feel an arm brush up against me.

"Are you an exam? Because I have been studying you like crazy."A voice says, letting out a low whistle.

Is there seriously a dumbass here? A bunch of them even! Don't they know to leave me alone? Everyone in UnderLust usually don't bother me out of fear of "the destroyer".

"FuCk oFf."I say

"Oh please give the guy some space. Plus you're doing it wrong."Another voice says

I see another monster cut between me and the first. I glance over, seeing Lust get surrounded out of nowhere by drunk, buzzed, and sober monsters offering drinks and hitting on him. I mean they were using all sorts of lines.

"I love my bed, but I'd rather be in yours.~"

"Your outfit would look great on my bedroom floor."

I feel myself nearly crash when multiple strangers got too touchy and even smack my body. I shove them away.
