Error's POV a month later
So to start, Kronk has been safely returned to his fandom. Destinia has been forced to fix the holes to prevent further issues and Simpella has been monitoring them closely. Honestly, it's as if Simpella is the parent looking after a bunch of wild kids lately.
Horror has been busy preparing things, now confident with his plans. He has given me the details of what he imagines for the future. He will prepare for it by building a nice home near Farmer's home where he will do woodcarving and help around on his farm. He will have a fenced-in yard for his pets to be kept safely in. It will be entirely safe and he will work on cooking in there, perhaps even selling treats out of the home. Whatever works and whatever keeps Farmer happy.
Now his plan for the proposal is harder to pin down. He isn't even sure yet how he may do it, though he has plenty of ideas. He is focused right now on fixing the holes in the plan though. That includes teaching other members how to cook safely since when he moves out to live with Farmer, he won't be around to cook. And he doesn't want to return during the holidays or something to find that Killer burned the kitchen down or that Nighty chopped his own hand off. Though only I know that the past few weeks of their "Cooking Camp" is for this reason. I'm the only one who knows about Horror's marriage plans since he doesn't want anyone to blab about it.
He has noticed Farmer growing more distant from him lately. Fewer calls or time together, always saying that he is busy...Even when they planned time together. It's starting to concern Horror but I've caught onto the tone that Farmer uses and it makes me chuckle. Sometimes Horror calls him and he sounds shocked as if he was caught off-guard and quickly making up an excuse. He sounds like Paps when trying to hide a surprise, so I tell Horror not to worry about it.
Today I am with him as he builds a house on an unowned piece of land near Farmer's home and farmland. Like right on the edge of the property. He has all the rooms planned and building accordingly, making a cozy-looking home. I am here to help where he needs me, yet the only thing he really wants me to do is to code good security into this home. Sure the entire AU is coded now with a barrier to keep trouble out, but he isn't taking chances. Besides, there could always be dangers to protect themselves from within the AU....like the Undyne here who he is certain hates him.
I am working on said code while he builds the second floor and the walls to support the roof carefully. He pauses to check his plan which he drew on small papers carefully. I chuckle, never seeing him so focused as he paces back and forth.
"What's this?"A familiar voice asks as I finish the security code for the front of the house.
I glance over to see Farmer beside me, a basket of fresh crops in his hands.
"What is Horror doing?"He asks
"Oh! He juSt WaNteD t0 maKe a h0mE WhErE hE cOuLd d0 hiS woOdcArViNg."I say
"I thought Nightmare was fine with his hobby."He says
"He iS. BuT He wAnTs a PlaCe t0 d0 s0 wHeN oUt wiTh yOu tHaT d0eSn'T rEquiRe cRaShInG aT yOuR pLaCe."I say
I am trying my best to come up with excuses for Horror so he doesn't catch on but it seems that each word I say upsets Farmer.
"He didn't tell me this...."He says
"He diDn'T wAnT t0 botHeR y0u s1nc3 y0u'r3 bUsY."I say
"Hey, Dad! I think this looks right! Does it look stable from down the-? Oh hi, Farm!" Horror calls down
I glance up and can see that he is nervous at the surprise arrival. Farmer smiles, waving to him.
"Looking good, Horror!"He says
