Chapter 31: Distract the Fiances

Dream's POV a few days later

"Come on out, Brother! Let me see what you picked out!"I say

"Mmm...I'm not sure about this..."He says, hidden in the changing room

I chuckle, shaking my head.

We're currently at a wedding shop and he's supposed to be trying outfits on. I'm not as skilled as Paps with designs and he is busy preparing Error for the wedding and doing his part with organizing things so I didn't want to add more to his plate. Besides, this helps with our mission today to distract the wedding duo. Paps took Error to run errands and I'm doing the same with my brother while the rest scramble to secretly get things in order and deliver invites. They are not just delivering invites but also knocking on doors, if any doors, and finding out who exactly can make the guest list. So in addition to being invited, most are having three wild killers knocking their doors down and being questioned on the spot if they're coming or not. Some tasks aside from that are easier said than done since just finding a place friendly enough to host the wedding of my brother, a known gang leader, and the god of destruction is tough in the multiverse.

I glance over, seeing Paps walk outside the store with Error, browsing the shops. Lust and Blue walk with them, Lust finding a...suggestive store and grinning but Blue pushes Lust right past it as he attempted to get the glitch brothers inside it.

"DO NOT ruin Papy's innocence!"I hear Blue shout

"Awww..."Lust says with a pout

They walk to another store but Paps and I spot each other, giving each other a knowing nod.

"Are you sure now Brother?"I ask, noticing his silence

"Mmmm...Do I have to come out?"

I sigh, shaking my head.

This is my brother, leader of a gang of killers and powerful enough to be feared across to the multiverse, always so brave and diving headfirst in the center of a violent, chaotic storm to face troubles at hand, strong and calculating in our battles over the years...The same brother too scared now to come out of a dressing room for his own wedding.

I can't help but chuckle.

"Is everything okay?"A worker asks

"Yes, my brother is just a little shy and uncertain."I say

"Oh, I could help him. What does he look like?"He asks

I show a picture of Nightare and he nods with a smile.

"In the second changing room."I say

He nods, then walks away. Next I see him walk by with a rack of dresses, some with openings in the back which I bet will help with the tentacles. Well, some are tuxedo dresses so I can't call them all just dresses. hear a knock on the door as I sit at the waiting room.

"Sir, if you aren't sure about what you picked I found some fitting your figure and may work with your extra appendages!"The worker says

"....Thank you."I hear Nightmare say

Soon the worker leaves with a rack that has less hanging on it. I smile, patiently waiting for Brother.

"I'm still unsure about this..."He says

"You'll be fine, Brother! You look great in anything! Just ask yourself which you feel comfortable the most in! And....What you feel the most comfortable Error seeing you in I guess!"I tell him

"Dream!"He squeaks

"What? It's true! Don't want you passing out when he sees you or compliments you! I know how you get around him!"I say

I hear him go silent. Then a tap on the glass of the store catches my attention. I see Blue outside and smile. He motions for me to come out and since Brother isn't coming out anytime soon, I head out.

"Hey, Dream! What are you up to?"He asks

"Still waiting for Brother to come out. At this point I'm doubting that he even tried any on."I say

He chuckles. Then he smirks.

"How about we surprise him by sneaking Error in?"He suggests, pointing to Error chatting as he leaves a store with Lust.

I chuckle.

"Are you trying to kill my brother before his wedding day?"I ask

He shrugs.

"His company may just be the thing that gets your brother out of the changing room."He says

"WhAt iS gOiNg oN?"Paps asks

"Nightmare won't leave the changing room apparently."Blue says, pointing to the store I left.

"OoO! CaN wE gO iN nExT? I tHiNk I CaN gEt sOm3 rEfErEnc3s fOr tUxEd0 d3siGnS!"He asks

"Sure!"Blue says with a grin

I chuckle, going back in and sitting down at the waiting room.

"You alright in there, Brother?"I ask

"Mhm."He hums as I see the four of them enter the store using the mirrors on the walls of the waiting room

Part of the waiting room is designed with mirrors for display or to show the clothes once tried on from different angles, usually for the purpose that I came to help Nightmare with. Help him and check out his choices when he tried the outfits on. If he ever comes out that is.

"You coming out anytime soon?"I ask

"Yeah yeah..."He says

Error curiously walks over to some racks to browse, then looks at me and waves. I hear the door creak open to one of the changing rooms and can see Nightmare finally start coming out in the mirror. I guess Error saw that too because he smiles and sits beside me.

I see my brother step out, crossing his arms with his tentacles hanging low as they sprout from openings in the back of the suit. The top of the outfit is designed like a tuxedo, but from the waist down it flows like a dress with hints of purple laced in the white fabrics. He isn't even looking ahead, finding the ceiling lights more interesting. He looks great, yet is so nervous about it.

"Brother you look amazing! Look in the mirror!"I tell him

He shuts his eye and hugs himself tighter. I can sense how nervous he is. I guide him to the space with mirrors. I know I have to be careful now since I don't want to spook him.

"Do you like it?"I ask

He opens his eye, looking at his reflection. I see his cheeks turn a bit green.

"Still can't believe this is happening..."He sighs with a smile

"DiDn'T tHiNk tHiS fAr aHeAd iN yOuR pLaN t0 pRoPoSe, hUh?"Error asks teasingly with a smile

Nightmare's face burns up and I could see his tentacles wagging a bit.

"G-Glitchy! W-W-What are you doing here?"He asks, turning around

Error grins, getting up from his seat.

"My bRo iS bRoWsiNg iN hErE aNd I sAw dReAm s0 i j0inEd hIm. WhY sO aLaRmEd nIgHtY?"He asks, coming closer

He carefully wraps his arms around my brother who is currently a speechless blushing mess. As usual, Error pets his eagerly wiggling tentacles gently.

"StOp bEiNg s0 nErvOuS, nIgHtY. YoU l0oK sTuNniNg. So pErFeCt.~"He coos affectionately

"Glitchy!"Nightmare squeaks, hiding his face in Error's chest.

"ALl tHaT yoU aRe miSsInG iS a SmiLe. CoMe oN, sHoW mE tHaT cHaRmiNg sMiLe."He says

My phone rings so I take the chance to leave and answer.

"Hey, Cross."I say with a smile

"Heyyyy Dream...So some things came up and it seems that they'll have to be distracted longer. Sorry."He says

"That's fine. That will be simple enough since with the way things are going here, my brother will be busy for a looong while."I say
