A week later, Error's POV
I find myself happily chatting away with Probe again while exploring another AU. Probe smiles at me, happy whenever we hang out. He has told me that he is happy to have me. To have a friend. Someone who cares and understands. And I'm happy to return the favor to him.
We relax together on a cliff overlooking the view of an AU. It's quite beautiful with the way that the sunset nestles against the mountain range surrounding fields, forests, and the towns below. I sigh, relaxing against the rocky wall behind us and admiring the view. Probe glances at me with concern.
"Ⓔⓥⓔⓡⓨⓣⓗⓘⓝⓖ ⓞⓚⓐⓨ?" He asks
I roll my eyes.
"JuSt mOrOn iSsUeS."I say
"Ⓝⓘⓖⓗⓣⓜⓐⓡⓔ?" He says
I nod.
"Ⓘ ⒸⓄⓊⓁⒹ ⓛⓞⓞⓚ ⓣⓗⓡⓞⓤⓖⓗ ⓗⓘⓢ ⓕⓘⓛⓔ ⓣⓞ ⓢⓔⓔ ⓦⓗⓐⓣ ⓘⓢ ⓦⓡⓞⓝⓖ." He suggests
I shake my head, though I do think about it.
"ThaT pRoBaBlY wOuLd cAusE m0rE pRobLeMs siNCe iT iS a pRivAcY vIoLaTi0n."I say
He closes a code screen, seeming a bit too eager to go through with it.
"So...HaVe yOu FoUnd bEtTeR aSsOciAtEs yEt?"I ask, trying to change the subject.
He shrugs with a sigh.

He looks genuinely upset that his first associate tried to take advantage of him. But I smile, patting him on the back.
"GeTtInG aWaY wAs pRobAbLy tHe bESt tHiNg fOr yOu. JuSt bE cArEfUl wiTh yOuR mOniToRInG oR aCtiOns gOiNg foRwArD. He iS nOt tO bE mEsSeD wiTh. BuT nOw yOu hAvE aN eNtIrE cLub tO cOnNeCt wIth."I tell him
He nods, then a device on his wrist flickers and he checks it. Then he gets up, looking worried.
"Ⓘⓣ ⓦⓞⓤⓛⓓ ⓑⓔ ⓑⓔⓢⓣ ⓕⓞⓡ ⓣⓗⓔⓜ ⓣⓞ ⓢⓔⓔ ⓐ ⓓⓞⓒⓣⓞⓡ. Ⓜⓨ ⓓⓔⓥⓘⓒⓔⓢ ⓓⓔⓣⓔⓒⓣⓔⓓ ⓐ ⓟⓞⓢⓢⓘⓑⓛⓔ ⓣⓗⓡⓔⓐⓣ."He tells me
He opens a portal we go to a doctor who checks us both out carefully. They didn't exactly ask us questions about the sudden check-up. The doc specifically my soul upon Probe's request with my consent, which puts us at ease.
My phone rings with a call from Killer as the doctors go to check some tests on my samples for results.
"HeY, KiLlEr. WhAt'S uP?"I ask
"Hey, Dad! I finally broke Nightmare down and got him to talk! All it took was a week of my...unique interrogation methods."He says
"SeRiOuSlY?"I say
