FREEN'S POV
" Oh I still hate you, don't worry about that ". I said with a little smile so she would get the idea that I was kidding.
I don't hate her, I am just annoyed, she smiles a lot.
After my session, she started pushing my wheelchair towards the hospital exit. " See you tomorrow ". Again she is smiling, why does she do that ?
" I wouldn't count on it ". I said as I got in my car with the help of Nam and Richard. " What is today's schedule, Richard ? ". I asked him and he debriefed me about my meeting schedule for today. " The board is having another meeting this week to discuss the plan for our new store launch in Europe ". I just nodded and looked out of the window for the rest of the ride.
We dropped Nam in front of her house and then went straight to the office. " Richard research about small businesses that are successful in Europe, I am planning for a joint venture that would provide us more customers and publicity ". Richard nodded and started to work on his research.
My employees were working very hard as we were focussed on making this a success and I appreciated their devotion towards this. The motive behind targeting small industries is that they have the access to more people belonging to different sections of the society so this will provide us a chance to expand our business while depending on them.
" Ma'am here is the list of companies that I think are right for our plan, I have also attached the sales record of these companies of the past few years ". Richard sent me documents plus sales charts of the companies and I immediately started analysing them.
I shortlisted three companies and prepared a small presentation on it so that I can discuss this strategy with other members in our upcoming meeting.
This afternoon, new designs for our clothing brand came in and I was reviewing them when my office door was forcefully opened. I got irritated by whoever this person was, I was busy with my work and they decided to barge in without my consent.
" Hey baby ".
Of course it had to be that bitch.
" Who let you in ? ". I pushed my wheelchair towards her with anger. She is really testing my patience. " Do I really need anyone's permission to get in ". She said while grinning, she started getting closed to me but I stopped her. " And why would that be? ". I asked her and she looked at me smiling. " Because I am your girlfriend dummy ". She said chuckling, I was so done with this.
I hate her !
" Okay miss whoever you are, you need to get out of my office and my life. Please leave me alone. I don't know who you are and I don't have any interest in knowing it. My life has been in shit for the last two months and I don't need you to make it any worse than it already is ". I explained to her as calmly as I could because if I lose my mind, it is going to be over for her.
" Why are you doing this ? Don't you remember loving me ? Don't you remember our good times together ? Please don't do this, we were so happy together ". She pleaded as she tried to touch my hand but I took it out of her reach and glared at her.
" As far as I remember, I don't do relationships and it is pretty hard for me to believe that I loved someone like you who doesn't know how to behave properly. So if it makes it easier for you to leave me alone, I don't want anything to do with you. Forget whatever we had and fucking move on ". I let out a heavy sigh and turned back towards my desk to resume my work.
" My name is Cathy ". She said as a tear rolled down her face. " Did I ask ? ". I rolled my eyes at her behaviour, this is frustrating. " You said you didn't know me so I am introducing myself ". She said as she looked at me crying. " And didn't I say that I don't have any interest in it ". I raised my eyebrows at her and she got the idea that it was her time to leave.
