BECKY'S POV :-
I followed her out, I looked around but couldn't find her, I was about to turn around and go inside but then I heard muffled cries coming from the corner.
I slowly walked towards the person, my heels clicked on the street. It made my presence known to the person. I knew who it was, she got up from the corner where she sat and started walking away. I followed her where she walked to.
" Go away, Cathy, I don't want to talk to you ". She sniffed and walked towards the parking space, assuming she was trying to leave the event.
" Well I am not her ". I said and she stopped walking, she took a deep breath in and turned around. Her eyes were visibly red even in the dark, she gulped and just froze in the spot.
" Why are you here ? ". She croaked our and then cleared her throat. " Why did you leave ? ". I asked my voice was quivering as well, I didn't have the strength in me to continue this.
" I didn't enjoy the event so I decided to leave ". Freen shrugged and took another step towards the parking lot. " Stop ! ". I shouted angrily that made her stop in her tracks and look at me bewildered.
" Why did you leave ? ". I asked again with a determined voice, staring directly in her eyes. " I just said I didn't enjoy the event ". Freen defensively said, sighing and running her fingers through her hair.
" That's not what I mean ! ". I took a step towards her, my hands turning into a fist, my anger was getting out of control. " What are you trying to say ? ". Freen asked again taking a step back, she was definitely scared of the situation.
" Why did you leave me ? Why did you leave me without saying anything ? ". I growled each word, I was looking for an answer, answer which could give me closure.
" This is not the right place and time to talk about that ". Freen shaked her head and stared at her feet. " You are not getting out of this by saying that it is not the right place and time ? I don't care !! ". I yelled clenching my jaw tightly, my face was turning red with the anger I was holding in and probably some of the tears that were threatening to fall.
" I want the truth, why ? ". I asked again when all I got was silence as an answer. " I didn't... ". She mumbled something but i couldn't catch it due to the loud music coming from the event hall.
" What did you just say ?! ". I asked taking a step towards her, this time she didn't back up, she stood her ground and now we were just 3 feet apart. " I said I didn't have the courage ". She said clearly this time, looking up from the ground.
She was crying...
I gulped as my heart started beating fast after seeing her so heartbroken, I shaked my head of these useless thoughts, I was the victim here not her or her girlfriend.
" You are a fucking coward ? You didn't have the courage ? So you just decided to break my heart and pretend that we never happened ? Was this relationship a joke to you ? Or it didn't mean anything because it was ' just a month ' ? ". I bombarded her with questions and allegations, the pain I had felt in this past few weeks was not anything compared to this.
She has to suffer...
For the choices she made...
" Stop saying nonsense !! ". She yelled at me, I had never seen this side of her ever, her eyes were glowing with tears put her voice held so much pain and anger at the same time.
" Isn't this true ? ". I snorted and crossed my arms in front of my chest as I stared at her coldly. " You don't know anything ". She mumbled and turned her head away from me, I snorted again and took a step close to her, shortening the distance between us.
