SPECIAL CHAPTER ( WEDDING )

Freen and Becky had decided to get married by the beach, the couple booked a nice resort for the reception and had booked a private beach for their wedding ceremony.

The wedding date was selected by Becky, her father and mother wanted the wedding after a month of the engagement but she said that the couple still needs time and she is still young, Freen respected her decision as long as she knew that there would be a wedding and Becky would be hers.

They decided to get married after Becky turned 24 but due to the holiday season the wedding was shifted to January.

Here they are both waiting patiently for the ceremony to start.

" You are not trying to run away right ? ". Nita asked Freen as she entered her room, both Freen and Becky had separate rooms to get ready in, as the tradition says that the groom can't see the bride so that's what happened, however, Freen didn't like the idea.

" I would never run away from the only thing I wanted from this world ". Freen smiled and as she put on her suit, Nita smiled and walked into the room, the handed Freen the red rose to put in her suit pocket.

" I didn't think you would come, kid ". Freen chuckled, Nita shrugged she didn't come on her own, her grandma forced her. " I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my grandma who apparently thinks you are her granddaughter as well ". Nita scowled, Freen giggled, Nita's grandmother found about the deal and the fact that her treatment was funded by Freen.

" So that makes us sisters, right ? ". Freen asked as the teen rolled her eyes, her grandma and Freen had gotten closer and Freen would even take her to the hospital when Nita was in school, she couldn't stop Freen and her ma from getting close, it just naturally happened.

" Unfortunately, yes ". Nita replied and Freen chuckled, she always wanted a little sister and even if Nita is someone who bullys her, she wouldn't want anyone else as her sister.

" I still don't know what Becky saw in you ". Nita said as she scanned Freen from head to toe. " Now that we have reached to that topic, have you seen your sister in law ? ". Freen was eagerly waiting to see who Becky looked, Becky didn't take her with her when they went shopping for the wedding dress, Freen hated it but Becky convinced her that it would be for the better.

" She looks an angel, trust me you have got the queen ". Nita patted Freen's shoulder as she said this, this made Freen more impatient. " Freen ! Freen ! Oh God you are okay ". Nam entered the room, completely panicking, Freen was totally bewildered why her best friend and her maid of honor was acting this way.

" What would happen to me ? ". Freen asked the question and Nam sighed when she saw Freen, standing in her suit, completely ready. " I thought you tried to run away ". Nam admitted and Nita chuckled this made Freen roll her eyes.

" Why does everyone think that ?? ". Freen groaned and held her head in her hands. " I thought it was because of your anxiety, my old best friend was scared of commitment so I feared if she had returned, I wouldn't want people to question my upbringing ". Nam shrugged and fixed Freen bowtie.

" Your upbringing ? I am not your kid, Nam ". Freen eyed her best friend who was hurt by Freen's words. " Ya ? I basically raised you, I took care of you for 12 years and this is how you repay me ? ". Nam smacked Freen's head, it was true, Nam was the only family Freen had when hers died.

" I am sorry Ma... ". Freen joked and brought Nam into a bone crushing hug, She gestured to Nita to join in as well, the kid was hesitant at first but she finally decided to join in.

" My baby is getting married ". Nam giggled and jumped, Freen chuckled and Nita was happy to see this, the happiness in the atmosphere was contagious, she was always smiling around Freen that was the effect her older sister had on her.
