CHAPTER FIFTY THREE

Becky looked back and forth between Freen and Nam, Nam had covered her eyes after seeing Becky's hand inside Freen's shirt. Becky immediately got off Freen's lap and fixed her clothes while Freen did the same.

Did she say proposal ?!

Freen is going to ask me to marry her ??

" Are you guys decent now ? ". Nam avoided looking towards Becky and her  questioning gaze, she sighed in relief when she removed her hands off her eyes and saw both of them sitting apart with their clothes set.

" Oh Becky, you are still here, I thought you would be at the hospital ". Nam nervously chuckled, she knew that she was in deep trouble if Becky got any idea regarding Freen's plan to propose to her.

Freen cleared her throat, she averted her gaze away from Becky. " What proposal are you talking about, P'Nam ? ". Becky broke the awkward silence, Freen shifted in her seat and stared at the couch, her heartbeat was irregular.

" Seriously guys, if you want to be horny teenagers at least lock the Front door properly ". Nam sighed and rolled her eyes, Becky was still anticipating an answer from her.

Please Nam !!

Come up with an excuse !!

Freen kept repeating those words with her eyes closed, Nam momentarily gazed at her best friend who had her eyes tightly shut.

" P'Nam ? What proposal ? ". Becky asked again, she wanted the answer, she wanted to be prepared if Freen was going to propose, Nam glanced at Freen who had her eyes closed, she sighed, she knew what to say.

" Oh Nong, Freen talked about her launch party with me, saying there are so many business personalities that will be attending the event, she said she wants to propose an idea to one of the people there so it could benefit her company. You see after the court case, her investors are demanding changes so she is working hard to regain their trust in her company". Nam shrugged, Freen opened her eyes immediately and looked at Nam, she was proud of her best friend for making up a believable lie, Nam winked.

" Babe... Why didn't you tell me that ". Becky pouted, she didn't know that Freen was struggling with her company investors. " It is alright, Bec, with this event I will gain their trust back, don't worry okay ". Freen caressed Becky's back and placed a kiss on her cheek, Nam was disgusted by it.

" Okay guys, no kisses while I'm here, if you don't want me to puke all over your place ". Nam waved her hands in the air and left the lovebirds on the couch and went straight to the kitchen.

" Are you going to be there ? ". Freen asked after she was sure that Nam was in the kitchen, Becky forgot to tell Freen that Dr. Heng gave her an off on Sunday.

" Yeah I'm going to be there ". Becky cheekily smiled and Freen's happiness was visible on her face, she held Becky's face in her hands and kissed it all over, the forehead, the cheeks, the nose, chin, eyes and then finally her lips.

" Get away from me, Jasper !!! ". Nam's screeching voice came from the kitchen, Freen and Becky jumped down from the couch and headed straight inside to me what happened.

" What ?? Oh shit...... Jasper get down from the counter right now !!! ". Freen scolded Jasper, apparently the cat dropped the flour packet on the floor when Nam tried to make pancakes for everyone. " Is this how you apologize to your aunt ?? ". Freen sternly said, while Becky helped Nam to clean the mess from the floor.

" Jasper.... ". Freen was about to say something else but Becky stopped her from scolding Jasper further. She picked up Jasper in her arms and gave Freen a side eye. " Look Jasper it is not nice okay, see your aunt Nam was just making all of us pancakes so now be a nice boy and apologize ". Becky sweetly asked Jasper and he meowed, Freen rolled her eyes.
