CHAPTER FOURTY EIGHT

" I brought your food kid ". Freen entered the room after calming her heartbeat down, she couldn't let Becky or Nita know that she heard their conversation.

" Is it the salad again ? ". Nita whined and Freen chuckled nodding. " You have to take care of yourself, tomorrow morning you will be discharged from here so just for now eat the salad ". Freen patted Nita's head but the kid just groaned.

" Did you eat something ? ". Freen then asked her question from Becky who was just standing there, admiring the interaction between Freen and Nita.

" No I haven't ". Becky politely replied with a beautiful smile on her face, what Nita said to Becky made her see things differently.

" It is good because I bought your energy booster, don't overwork yourself alright ? ". Freen grinned and then took out Becky's milk tea from the bag, she wouldn't forget to buy Becky's milk tea.

" Thank you ". Becky shyly took the tea from Freen's hand, on the other hand, Nita closely observed their conversation, she was mentally cringing at the sweet words and gestures and on top of it both of the women were blushing.

" The flirting is still not okay ". Nita mumbled, Freen cleared her throat and stopped staring at Becky, she made Nita sit on the bed so that she could eat her food.

" I will come to check on you in two hours ". Becky informed Nita before leaving the room, she glanced at Freen and then left.

" Why didn't I realise it before ? ". Nita wondered openly, Freen was not sure what was the meaning behind this.

" What are you trying to say ? ". Freen asked, as she placed the food bowl in front of Nita. " That my nurse was your Becky, your eyes are dripping love whenever you see her ". Nita rolled her eyes and Freen chuckled, the kid was still not used to the flirting and found it unsettling.

" So the contract is ready ". Freen casually said, scrolling through her phone, Nita was eating her food. " When am I signing it ? ". Nita almost spit out her food with excitement.

" Calm down, eat your food first ". Freen chuckled, Richard had dropped off the document to the hospital just now. " Let's sign it tomorrow, when your grandmother starts with her treatment ". Freen smiled, she informed Nita's grandmother that Nita will be discharged tomorrow so she should come to pick her up but she didn't tell her that she also starts her treatment.

" Do you know how much will be the fee of the hospital for me ? ". Nita was scared of it as well, she knew they had no savings and her medical expense would be very costly. " Around 45000 Baht ". Freen said nonchalantly she already had that covered so she didn't mind it.

" What the fuck ? How am I going to pay it ". Nita groaned and Freen just chuckled. " I thought we had a deal ". Freen grinned when Nita ruffled her hair in frustration.

" I paid it already so stop stressing yourself out, You shouldn't worry about money at your age. I know you don't think of me as your sister or friend but I will always look out for you if you need anything ". Nita sighed in relief, she didn't know Freen could be this nice, the woman single handedly changed her perspective towards rich people.

" I hope that will be added in that deal ". Nita warned and then glared at Freen would didn't say anything. " Consider it as a thank you I guess ". Freen mumbled which only made Nita stare at her coldly, she wasn't sure what was there to thank her, she only caused problems for Freen.

" What is there to thank me for ? ". Nita crossed her arms in front of her chest, Freen just smiled. " Answer me ! ". Nita smacked the woman who just sat there dumbfounded, she was grateful for Nita but now she was reconsidering it.
