Yoosung snapped his eyes open. It was quiet, too quiet. Darkness clouded his vision, seeing pixels in the air that almost looked like flies buzzing in chaotic circles just above his eyes. He tried to move but felt something strong clamping his wrists and ankles down, causing every muscle in his body to tense. Upon every tug, he felt panic begin to bubble in his chest.

Where Am I?! What's going on?!

Yoosung tried to call out to someone - anyone that could hear him, but all that came out was a muffled groan as he felt something covering his lips that took hold of his tongue, paralysing it in his mouth. It was as though a clamp of some kind was jammed over it, holding it in place. He tried to squirm and break free from whatever was holding him down, but it was too strong. His fingertips touched the surface below him and he immediately quivered in fear when he felt the sharp sting of cold metal burn against his skin.

Am - am I on a medical bed?! What's going on?!

Suddenly, a light appeared above him, blaring down at him and stinging his bloodshot eyes. He squinted, forcing his vision to adjust as he blinked his eyelids rapidly. But once the blurriness had finally faded, Yoosung felt a scream vibrate against his throat, trapped inside by his sealed lips. His breathing grew fast as his vision focused on a man standing next to the metal bed, glaring down at him with daggers in his eyes, eyes that Yoosung could recognise easily from a mile away. They were a pair of eyes he wished to never see again.

Unknown.

Yoosung tried squirming with as much force his body could muster to try and get his wrists and ankles free, but whatever was holding them down wasn't budging or breaking. He was trapped, with no way of escaping. He tried to scream again, but all that came out were muffled cries that were barely audible.

No one can hear me. No one would be able to hear me ever again. Unknown would never let me escape this time.

As Yoosung continued to struggle despite knowing that it was no use, he could see Unknown grinning from ear to ear, before laughing wildly at Yoosung's pitiful efforts of trying to escape. But that didn't stop Yoosung. He tried harder and harder each time to break free, but it was all in vain, and soon, he grew breathless as his wrists and ankles began to burn from pulling at them so much.

Then, he noticed Unknown's mint green eyes shift away from him, before nodding his head at someone in approval. Yoosung moved his pupils as far as they could go until they fell on a hooded figure, standing right next to Yoosung's bed. And to his horror, he realised that there wasn't just one, but at least a dozen of them, circling around him. They all peered down at him, the shadows from their hoods making their faces invisible, as though they had no faces at all.

Suddenly, the hooded figure Unknown nodded to slowly leaned his head towards Yoosung, closer and closer until the boy could feel the figure's hot breath against his face that reeked of rot and dry blood, smells that would haunt Yoosung's senses for the rest of his life.

With tears flooding into the brims of his soft, lilac eyes, Yoosung clamped his eyelids shut, whimpering as he waited for whatever this hooded person was about to do to him.

"Yoosung" a voice familiar to the boy spoke softly in his ear, making him open his eyes again, although hesitantly. As he did, he blinked in confusion when the surroundings of his own bedroom faded in and out of focus, but let out another muffled cry as Unknown was still standing at the foot of his bed, glaring down at him with that same crazed smile he always used. The boy looked up at where the hooded figure once was, but instead, he saw Emjay.

"Hey, it's okay, honey. Try to calm down. I'm right here" she spoke gently and stroked his forehead. He tried to move again to hold onto her, to have her arms around him protectively, but his wrists and ankles were still strapped down tightly with his tongue still clamped in his mouth, causing him to whimper in fear again.
