"Come on, Scarlett, we've been through this many times before. Who is he?"

Scarlett screwed her eyes shut, trying her best to ignore the voice booming in her ears. Her whole body trembled as she continuously fought against the restraints holding her wrists down on the metal table.

"Open your eyes! You need to look at him before he hurts you!"

"Please, just let me go" Scarlett pleaded, her voice barely a whisper as tears rolled down her cheeks. But instead of being met with sympathy, a hot, searing pain radiated through the side of her body, causing her to scream out.

"You need to look at him!"

Scarlett didn't want to obey. She had no idea what these people wanted from her, but the pain was too much for her to take. So, she finally opened her tear-filled eyes, staring once again at the photo of Seven hovering inches away from her face.

"Who is he, Scarlett?"

Scarlett gritted her teeth together. She didn't understand what was happening. She wasn't being tortured for information as these people already knew who Seven was, so why were they doing this, and why to her? Although she knew who Seven was, she barely knew the guy on a personal level. She'd only met him for about ten minutes. Did they think she had something of value to do with Seven? If she did, she couldn't understand what.

"You already know who he is! That's Luciel Choi, Seven, the Defender of-" Scarlett's voice was suddenly cut off by another searing pain stabbing across her abdomen before she felt the sensation of warm liquid trickling down the sides of her body. She let out another scream as she thrashed against the restraints that continued to hold her down easily.

"Come on, Scarlett. You know this man is dangerous! You can't be so friendly towards him! He keeps hurting you!" the voice boomed across the damp and dark room as the coldness inside gnawed on her bones, causing her limbs to grow numb and stiff.

"But-but he's not hurting me. You are!" Scarlett roared at whoever was doing this to her. She tried to peer at them and see who they were, but she couldn't see past Seven's picture.

Anger was beginning to bubble in her chest towards this evil person. But just as her anger was beginning to build, the person's gloved hand held up a long blade inches away from Scarlett's eyes, glistening sharply in the light. And just behind it was Seven's photo, making it look like he was holding the knife. And then, as it disappeared, Scarlett let out a blood-curdling scream as the blade pierced the skin of her hip.

"No, Scarlett. Luciel Choi is tricking you. He's the one doing this to you. You're too blind to even see it because you don't want to believe it" the voice replied.

Scarlett trembled as the blade was held inside her skin, ripping her tissue apart as it was twisted. She tried to keep her body as still as she possibly could, her eyes fastened on Seven's photo. She silently begged him to find out she had been taken and rescue her, but why would he? He barely knew her, and she barely knew him.

She barely knew him...

If she barely knew him, then how could be sure that he wouldn't hurt her?

Scarlett's eyes widened at the realisation, but she quickly shook her head, banishing the thought out of her mind instantly.

"I know he's not hurting me because it's you who's hurting me!" Scarlett screamed out her answer before rising a pitch higher as the blade pierced deeper into her hip, causing more blood to trickle down the side of her body that pooled beneath her back and right thigh.

"And who am I, Scarlett?" the voice asked.

"I-I-I d-don't know" Scarlett breathlessly stammered through the pain as she answered.
