Jumin's thumbs began to ache as he typed out yet another paragraph to his security guards that had been stationed at his penthouse, asking how his cat Elizabeth the Third and the little kitten which he finally decided to call "Lisa" were doing. He felt a pit grow in his stomach at the thought of his girls, especially Elizabeth, being fed at the wrong times or being fed too much or too little or being brushed too many times a day or not enough. How he longed for them both to be with him now, but he knew it was too dangerous to have them stay at Rika's safe house. Anyone from Mint Eye could attack them at any moment, and he wanted his girls to remain safe and secure.

The young CEO-in-line leaned over, pressing his burning forehead against the headrest of the passenger seat in front of him as his abdomen began to cramp. He longed to be with them both but he knew he was needed here. Eventually, he managed to finish the paragraph and sent it through the messenger before slipping his phone back into his blazer pocket. Once it was sent, Jumin tried to relax with his forehead glued to the back of the passenger seat's headrest. He closed his eyes, willing himself to get a tiny bit of shut-eye before they arrived at Scarlett's flat. However, a constant tapping noise infiltrated Jumin's eardrums, causing the man to groan. He darted his eyes sharply to the left and blinked in confusion when he saw Seven's foot tapping continuously against the floor of the SUV, his knee jumping through the air, breaking the silence that Jumin desperately needed.

Sighing, Jumin pursed his lips. He'd been expecting the young hacker to be talking non-stop about anything that he knew would annoy him like he usually would, but he'd been unusually quiet throughout the entire car journey to Scarlett's flat. His golden eyes scoured the scenery flashing past them anxiously and jolted in his seat every time a vehicle with a loud engine whizzed by. Although the endless tapping of Seven's foot had been torturing Jumin's eardrums, the man kept his mouth shut. He knew Seven was thinking about the hacker from Mint Eye, his twin brother, who had kidnapped Yoosung months prior. Jumin had no idea what all this new information meant for the Mint Eye boy, but he hoped that whatever it was would go in Seven's favour, for all their sakes as well as Seven's own sanity.

Suddenly, the SUV jolted to a stop, causing both Jumin and Seven and jump in fright before Driver Kim announced their arrival at the girl's flat.

As Driver Kim leapt out of the car to open Jumin's door while Seven let himself out, the men stood on the cracked pavement, staring up at the tall building that held each flat within it, its mustard yellow-stoned walls protruding the space around the other block of flats. Some were painted pink whilst others were blue.

"It's way too colourful on this street" Jumin sauntered, letting out a grunt of disgust at the different colours contrasting against each other. There wasn't any colour coordination to them at all, and it made his head throb.

"I like it!" Seven smiled. "Scarlett's got good taste! With all these block flats combined, it reminds me of Lego blocks which is exactly how I want my toy store to look!"

"You don't own a toy store, Luciel, and I doubt you ever will" Jumin drawled, shifting his dark eyes between the different coloured flats. The vibrancy was making his head burn painfully again.

"You never know! Someday I might retire from the hard labours of being the defender of justice and buy a building to turn into a toy store" Seven grinned happily, trying his best to keep the smile plastered on his aching cheeks to hide the look of dread that he hid underneath that threatened to show itself at any moment.

Rolling his eyes, Jumin made his way up to the front entrance of the block of flats where one of his men pulled the door open for him and Seven to enter. Climbing the stairs up to the fifth floor, the pair followed the man towards the flat that had its door lying wide open. However, once they were shown inside, Jumin and Seven both gasped in horror at what greeted them.
