It was almost noon by the time Seven pried his exhausted eyes away from the monitors with Jumin standing eagerly behind him, his phone glued to his cheek as a permanent scowl displayed across his face.

"We haven't been able to get hold of any of them, sir" one of the hackers back at the C&R building explained through the speaker of his phone which was loud enough for Seven to hear. His fingers moved at the speed of lightning across his keyboard as he listened.

"Could it be that they're in an area with no signal?" Jumin asked, trying desperately to stop his heart from hammering inside his chest.

Throughout the course of days since Jumin ordered a group of security men and a team of hackers from C&R out to the three-hundred-mile radius that Seven had been given on the RFA messenger by an unknown hacker that was possibly a traitor from Mint Eye, Seven, the hackers at C&R, as well as Jumin, had remained in contact with them successfully every hour of those days. However, the moment it struct 6 am, the hackers at C&R called both Jumin and Seven to report their first unsuccessful contact with them. And although it could simply be down to them having no signal as Jumin had suggested, everyone including Jumin himself had a bad feeling about this.

"It could be, sir, but we can't be certain" the hacker replied grimly.

"Okay, keep trying and let me know the moment you hear anything. We'll give them two hours to make sure it isn't anything to do with their signal. But if you still haven't heard anything by then, contact me or Luciel immediately" Jumin ordered in a trembling voice as the phone shook slightly in his hand.

"Will do, sir" the hacker replied before hanging up.

"Any thoughts, Luciel?" Jumin asked as he slipped his phone back into his pocket.

"Like you said, it could be that the signal of their current location is too weak to hold, but we have to be sure nothing else has happened" Seven replied, his voice a low murmur as he focused on the screen before him as he tried to track down the team's exact location, but even their tracker seemed to be nonexistent, which only made the young hacker panic even more.

"If it's nothing to do with the signal, what do you think could have happened instead?" Jumin asked although he wasn't sure if he even wanted an answer to that question.

Seven grimaced. "I could say an accident, but out there where there seems to be only vegetation and trees and the fact they have to drive slow to ensure they've inspected every section inside that radius, I highly doubt that"

"Then what?"

"We couldn't be certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mint Eye sussed them out somehow and attacked them" Seven replied with a hint of panic in his voice.

Jumin grunted as his legs began to feel heavy, however, he breathed deeply and focused on the situation at hand. He was the CEO-in-line, the person each employee at C&R looked up to for direction and guidance. He couldn't falter now when he had a job to do. Thinking that, Jumin smirked to himself, realising the irony that he'd always used those exact lines to all his employees who faltered even slightly in their work.

"Is there anything we can do for now while we wait?" Jumin asked, slipping his phone out of his pocket again in readiness for whatever Seven was about to suggest.

The young hacker sighed. "There's not much we can do, really, apart from telling the others"

Jumin let out a grunt. "I highly dislike that idea. Everyone would only panic"

"True. But they do need to be aware of it, especially if we're in danger. If Mint Eye have attacked our team, then they could be using any of them to get information about us right now. So, we'd have to be ready for anything" Seven explained.
