Nagising ako dahil sa isang matinding sakit sa aking leeg. Minulat ko ang aking mata, ngunit hindi ko alam kung nakamulat na nga ba ang mata ko dahil wala akong makita kundi kadiliman.
I tried to adjust my eyes to the darkness, I was alone, in an empty room, sitting and tied to the chair. Sinubukan kong igalaw ang sarili ko ngunit hindi ko magawa.
Tanging mukha ni Nightmare na tumatakbo papunta sa akin ang huli kong naalala. Nagsimula bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko ng maalala ko sila. Nasaan sila Nightmare?
Sa isang iglap ay biglang bumukas ang pintuan, nasilaw ako sa liwanag na nanggagaling dito ngunit tumambad sa harapan ko si Thor, Loki at Pierce.
"Where are they?!" Sigaw ko.
Isang ngisi ang isinagot ni Thor at ipinantay ang mukha sa akin.
"We caught them. You have no choice but to follow us if you don't want them killed." Babala nito.
I glared at him in disgust.
"I'm going to fucking kill you if you lay your hands on them." I warned but he just laughed sarcastically.
"We just need your blood then after that you can do whatever the fuck you want." Sagot niya.
Napatingin ako sa kanyang likod. Tahimik lamang ang dalawang lalaking kasama nito habang nakatingin sa akin.
"We can still be friends after this." He added which made me laugh sarcastically.
"Friends?" Natatawang sabi ko. Naglaho ang ngisi nito sa labi na tila napipikon sa inaakto ko.
"That was the biggest joke I've ever heard. I don't plan to be friends with snakes." Isa isa ko silang tinignan at sinamaan ng tingin.
"Ungrateful bastards." I whispered but he heard it.
Naramdaman ko nalang ang isang malakas na sampal sa aking pisngi. It made my head tilt, and I could feel the blood on the corner of my lips.
"Kuya." Rinig kong tawag ni Loki sa kanya.
"You'll never get what you want." I teased him but that was a cue for him to slap me again. It was continuous slap and it was strong that it made my eyes blurr.
"Stop it, Kuya!" Loki shouted and stopped him from slapping me.
"Take her!" Sigaw nito. Padabog itong lumabas ng silid at sumunod sa kanya si Loki. Naiwan sa loob si Pierce na ilang segundo pa ang itinayo sa aking harap.
"Remind me to kill you, traitor." Bulong ko ng makalapit ito at sinimulan na alisin ang pagkakatali ko.
"You have to live to kill me." He answered coldly.
Isang ngisi ang sinagot ko sa kanya.
"They will suck all the bloods out from your veins, so please make sure to live after that."
I clenched my jaw and fist when he said that. It was like a warning and a threat at the same time.
"What do you mean?" I asked curiously. I thought they just needed a drop of blood..
Tumigil ito sa kanyang ginagawa at lumuhod sa aking harap upang titigan ako sa mata.
"That box would not open with just a drop of blood. That box was meant to be locked forever and the only way to open is in exchange for a life of Donovan. That Donovan is you. They will drain the blood out of your fucking system and you will die." Napalunok ako sa kanyang sinabi.
I will die if I stay here.
"W-where are they?" I asked again. He glared at me and his jaw was clenching.
