After bidding farewell to Yuktongryeong and the vibrant culinary scene of Myeongdong, Catalina's Stagiaire adventure took her back to Japan. Her next destination was Shino's, a renowned restaurant where she would have the opportunity to reunite with Soma and embark on a new culinary journey.

As she stepped through the doors of Shino's, memories of her past encounters with Chef Shinomiya flooded her mind. The lively atmosphere and the tantalizing aromas drifting from the kitchen filled her with a sense of anticipation.

Catalina scanned the surrounding, searching for Soma. It didn't take long for her eyes to land on Soma walking towards her. A bright smile spread across her face as she made her way towards him.

"Soma!" Catalina called out, her voice filled with excitement. Soma turned around, his eyes widening with surprise and delight.

"Catalina! I can't believe you're here too!" Soma exclaimed, his voice brimming with genuine joy. They embraced in a warm hug, their reunion a testament to the enduring bond they had formed during their time at Totsuki Culinary Academy.

Catalina and Soma stood at the entrance of Shino's, their voices ringing out as they announced their arrival. Moments later, Chef Shinomiya appeared, a mix of surprise and annoyance evident on his face. He grabbed Catalina by the head, scolding her for not keeping in touch as she had promised.

"Hey, Chef, I've been busy exploring the world of fashion! You know, it's necessary," Catalina retorted, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Shinomiya tightened his grip, his tone stern. "I can fire you, you know."

Catalina and Soma burst into laughter, knowing well that Shinomiya's threat held no weight. They were here, ready to learn and prove their worth.

As they entered the restaurant, they were greeted by the presence of Gao Wei, the service manager, Lucie Hugo, a chef, and Abel Blondin, the head chef of SHINO's Tokyo and Shinomiya's sous chef. The team complained about the lack of additional help from contractors, but Shinomiya explained that they had to make do with the remaining budget and rely on their own skills and resourcefulness.

Catalina meticulously organized and counted tables, dishware, and ingredients, while Soma changed light bulbs, attending to the practical details of the restaurant. Amid their tasks, Soma couldn't help but wonder aloud why Shinomiya had chosen to open another restaurant in a different country, especially considering his ambition to achieve three Michelin stars at his flagship establishment.

Shinomiya paused for a moment, his expression reflecting a mix of determination and introspection. "Sometimes, you need to challenge yourself beyond what is expected. It's about pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities. That's why I'm here."

Catalina chimed in, her voice filled with excitement. "And for me, I want to continue enhancing my specialty in fusion and Latin cooking. It's about taking what I know and infusing it with new flavors and techniques."

Shinomiya nodded, acknowledging their drive for growth and improvement. "You both have potential, but don't forget, it's not just about being comfortable where you are. You need to find that special something, that unique quality that sets you apart and keeps you striving for greatness."
