Day 1: A Visit to the Elite Ten Office

Catalina strolled into the Elite Ten office, a mischievous smile dancing on her lips. Eishi, buried in a mountain of paperwork, looked exhausted and stressed. He glanced up in surprise at Catalina's arrival. 

"Catalina, what brings you here?" he asked, his voice filled with weariness.

"I couldn't resist the temptation of bothering you, Eishi," she replied, her playful tone tinged with concern. "But it seems like you're overwhelmed with work. How about this? I'll help you with the paperwork and clean your office, and in return, you can make me something incredible. Deal?"

Eishi hesitated, clearly torn between accepting her offer and wanting to handle his responsibilities alone. But seeing how eager and determined Catalina appeared, he finally relented. 

"Alright, Catalina. If you're willing to help, I suppose I can use the assistance."

Catalina jumped into action, working swiftly and efficiently. She was no stranger to paperwork, having helped her family with various administrative tasks back home. Within three hours, she managed to finish the pile of paperwork Eishi had given her.

Impressed by her speed, Eishi couldn't help but show a glimmer of gratitude. "Thank you, Catalina. You're quite the lifesaver. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to focus on cooking."

Catalina, always curious and eager to learn, expressed her desire to watch Eishi in action. 

However, sensing his unease with others in the kitchen, she quickly agreed to wait in his office instead. While waiting, she took the opportunity to clean and organize his workspace, creating a more efficient system for his paperwork.

Just as Catalina was finishing up, Rindo, the 2nd seat of the Elite Ten, arrived to check on Eishi's progress. 

Surprised to see Catalina, she approached with a warm smile. "Catalina, whatcha doing? Are you helping Eishi out? Ohhhh are you on a date?!"

Catalina greeted Rindo with equal warmth. "Hahaha no silly, I offered to lend a hand with his paperwork when I came by. Eishi has been working tirelessly, and I couldn't just stand by."

Rindo's eyes twinkled with mischief. "You're a kind soul, Catalina. I'm sure Eishi appreciates your help. But don't forget to make him try your cooking someday. I'm sure he'd be delighted."

Eishi emerged from the kitchen, carrying a dish that exuded his usual culinary brilliance. He presented it to Catalina, a mix of anticipation and nervousness evident in his expression. "I hope this meets your expectations, Catalina."

Catalina tasted the dish, savoring its flavors. She couldn't help but smile, knowing she had a special insight to share with Eishi. "It's undoubtedly delicious, Eishi, but I think it can be better."

Both Eishi and Rindo looked surprised at her comment. Eishi's eyes widened, a spark of excitement and relief flickering within. "Please, Catalina, tell me more."

Catalina explained, her voice filled with gentle honesty. "Eishi, your cooking style is exquisite and refined, perfectly suited for high-end clients and alumni chefs. But I've noticed that it might not have the same impact on the everyday person. It feels a little predictable and lacks that element of surprise. I think you have the potential to create something that appeals to everyone, while still maintaining your creativity and finesse."

Eishi's initial surprise transformed into a genuine smile. "Thank you, Catalina. I've always strived for perfection, but perhaps there's room for growth and experimentation. I appreciate your perspective."

Catalina's words resonated with Eishi, igniting a newfound spark within him. He realized that he had been confined within the boundaries of his own culinary style, and it was time to break free and explore new possibilities. He saw the potential to create dishes that could captivate a wider audience, while still retaining his signature finesse and elegance.

With Catalina's encouragement and Rindo's playful support, Eishi's determination grew stronger. He knew that he needed to take risks and step out of his comfort zone to evolve as a chef. As their ideas began to take shape, Eishi and Catalina eagerly shared their progress with Rindo, who acted as their enthusiastic sounding board. Rindo's sharp wit and impeccable palate provided valuable feedback, pushing them further to refine their creations.

Before it was getting late near the curfew for the dorm, Eishi stood before Catalina with a dish that showcased his transformation. The flavors danced harmoniously, offering both familiarity and surprise. 

Eishi's eyes sparkled with pride and gratitude as he presented the dish to Catalina.

Catalina beamed with delight, savoring the dish and reveling in Eishi's newfound confidence. "Eishi, it was amazing to see the start of your growth in just one day. I have no doubt that your culinary creations will continue to captivate and inspire. Remember, the world is your canvas, and there are no limits to what you can achieve."

Walking away from the Elite Ten office, Catalina bid farewell to Eishi and  Rindo.
