Sebastian POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar bed, my mind gradually piecing together the fragments of the previous night. Memories of Yvaine, pleasure intertwined with confusion, flooded my thoughts. As I sat up, stretching my weary limbs, I couldn't help but recall the intoxicating sensation of her lips wrapped around my member, like a tantalizing succubus. Puzzled, I ran my hands through my disheveled hair, trying to make sense of it all. The events of the evening were hazy, and I struggled to remember every detail.

A note by the bedside caught my attention, signed by Yvaine. She had left while I slept, seeking solace in her work. I ventured to find her, but her office was deserted, save for the magical creatures that roamed freely. Ominis appeared, his eyes scanning the surroundings as he inquired about Yvaine's whereabouts.

"Have you seen Yvy anywhere?" he asked, peering into her classroom.

"She mentioned she was going to work on her coursework," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant, not wanting to reveal the true nature of our connection just yet. What were we, after all? Lovers, friends, enemies, or something entangled in between? A situation?

"Odd... She's usually holed up in here. I haven't seen her in a few days either," Ominis mused, his curiosity evident. I couldn't bring myself to divulge the truth, unsure of where Yvaine and I stood.

"Um, no... The last time I saw her was when I dropped by her class to collect a feather for a potion," I responded, feigning casual indifference, hiding the complexities that lay beneath the surface.

Sebastian couldn't shake off the feeling of jealousy that clawed at his chest. Why was Ominis intent on finding Yvaine? Was there something between them that he didn't know about? Suppressing his emotions, he cleared his throat and posed the question, his tone laced with a hint of curiosity.

"Why do you want to see Yvaine?" Sebastian asked, trying to maintain the nonchalant demeanor, even though his heart raced with unease.

Ominis turned towards him, his expression puzzled. "I simply wanted to discuss a few things regarding our classes. Maybe combine some projects for the students. It's nothing out of the ordinary," he replied, his voice tinged with a touch of defensiveness and averting his gaze. Ominis tended to give away his thoughts in his facial expressions if you knew him well enough.

Sebastian's eyes narrowed slightly as he processed Ominis' words. The insecurities within him threatened to surface, but he pushed them down, unwilling to reveal his vulnerability. Deep down, he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to Ominis' interest in Yvaine than mere research.

"Alright, then. Let me know if you find her," Sebastian responded, his words tinged with a faint edge of possessiveness.

Yvaine POV

I stayed holed up in the Owlery near the school, seeking solace and distance from Ominis and Sebastian. The hidden room provided a safe haven, concealed from prying eyes by a spell that revealed its entrance to those who knew the right incantation.

Here, I found respite from the chaos and confusion that had consumed my life. The Owlery for years had served not only as a place to study and work on my coursework, but also as a sanctuary for honing my magical skills when the room of requirement wasn't the best option. The presence of the friendly owls added a touch of comfort, befitting a professor of magical beasts.

Lost in my studies, engrossed in a book of ancient aquatic spells, a pair of hands suddenly covered my eyes. A familiar voice filled the air, full of joy and warmth.
