Sebastian POV

10 Years Later

"Okay, you find Alaric, and I'll locate Divina," I said, striving to maintain my composure. As soon as we touched down in Hogsmeade, both of them darted off towards the shops, despite their mother's explicit instructions to stay by our side.

Since their birth, the twins had been inseparable, which, I suppose, was a blessing. Usually, we managed to locate them both when they decided to wander.

It remained intriguing that despite being born simultaneously, they bore little resemblance to each other. Divina unquestionably inherited her mother's captivating eyes and beauty but had striking similarities to Ominis.

In contrast, Alaric displayed many characteristics reminiscent of me. However, despite his royal lineage from his mother, he lacked the usual purple eyes, which makes me wonder if this discrepancy is a result of his half-human heritage.

He does, however, possess Ominis' eyes, and fortunately, he wasn't born with his earlier disability. We're still uncertain about how this is possible, but it appears that both children carry traits from all of us.

Yvaine has a theory that this might be linked to the Vita Mortem spell when we shared parts of our life force and soul with her. If that's the case, it could be intriguing to delve deeper into researching how the spell might influence our genetic and hereditary characteristics.

Despite being only five years old, they display remarkable intelligence and exuberance for life. Thankfully, their parents share these qualities as well.

"I'll check Honeydukes, and you can look in Whispering Pages" Ominis told me, hoping to locate the little rascals before Yvaine returned from The Magic Neep.

Ominis POV

As I ventured deeper into Hogsmeade, I caught sight of the unmistakable bouncing head of brown curls darting into Honeydukes. I chuckled to myself, reminiscing about how Sebastian and I would occasionally sneak into the shop for its delectable treats.

Stepping inside, the familiar scents of chocolate, lemon, jelly beans, and various sweets filled my senses. Even after regaining my sight many years ago, I vividly remembered how Yvaine had lit up as she introduced me to both new and familiar candies and how lively and colorful the shop always felt.

I scanned the area once more and spotted the telltale tangle of brown curls disappearing around a corner.

"You just missed him," the shopkeep remarked, finishing up restocking a shelf with a knowing smile and a laugh, having seen our family frequent her shop countless times over the years.

"Thanks, Olivia," I replied, quickening my pace as I followed the audacious Alaric.

"You certainly know how to give your fathers a heart attack," I quipped when I finally caught up to the runaway. "Just like your mother."

"I'm sorry, Papa, I just couldn't wait," he said with an enchanting smile that could melt your heart. "Look what I've found, though!" he exclaimed, extending his tiny palm to reveal small candies shaped like fish, sparkling with an aura.

I picked up one, remembering how these were Yvaine's absolute favorites.

I gently scooped up the little one into my arms, showing him the candy. "Did you know that your mother loves these as well?" I asked while examining the candies, their iridescent hues dancing with hints of hidden magic.
