Making a Difference (sequel to PDA)

5B: Coming Out

Lilith was just in her bedroom pacing back and forth. Her social media links kept blowing up asking her for confirmation if she was gay or not. Her parents were downstairs talking to Christian. Lilith heard her door opened and there stood Levi and he sat down on the bed and patted Lilith to sit down next to him. 

"Are you okay" Levi asked his twin sister. 

"I don't know. I'm gay" Lilith came out to her twin brother and Levi just nodded. 

"Lilith it's okay that you are gay. There's nothing wrong with it and you know mom and dad wouldn't care at all" Levi comforted his twin sister and got up from her bed and stick his hand out and Lilith just stared at Levi. 

"Come on Lilith it's time you be who you are" Levi smiled at his sister and she took his hand and Levi and her walked to the living room to see Christian being in engaged conversation with their dad. 

"Mom, dad" Lilith called to her parents and both of her parents and Christian were staring at her. Levi urged Lilith and Christian gave her an encouraging smile. 

"I need to tell you something" Lilith continued to get into her confession. 

"What is it honey" Cora asked her daughter sitting on Lilith's left side and Harry sat on Lilith's right side on the couch. 

"At school, Albany told everyone that I'm a lesbian and now no one is leaving me alone" Lilith's turned to both of her parents while tears cloud up in her eyes. 

"Lilith, honey are you telling us you're a lesbian" Harry asked his only daughter and Lilith just nodded while biting to stop herself from crying. 

"It's okay. Mom and me both still love you and you know we do not have problems with the LGBTQ community" Harry comforted his daughter and Lilith just started crying into her dad's chest. Levi and Christian both felt proud for their sister for having enough strength for coming out. 

"Thank you mommy and daddy" Lilith said while wiping her tears and Harry grabbed his daughter's face. 

"We are so proud of you. Your mom and I are and that won't ever change. We do want you to be you regardless of your sexual orientation"  Harry smiled at Lilith and grabbed her in the hug once more and Cora wrapped her arms around Lilith, kissing her daughter on her forehead non-stop. Lilith may had tears on her face but she now gained a smile on her face. 

"I love you guys" Lilith said to her parents. 

Lilith now knew that regardless of what people thought of her at school, she at least had her family to support and back her up.
