17B: The Crush of Susan

The first time, Lilith ever caught sight of the beautiful Susan was in middle school. Lilith had actually at the time came out to her family and they proved to be fully supportive. Don't get me wrong, Lilith  was teased constantly by her brothers but it was all in good fun. She was at her locker just staring at Susan while she laughed with her dance friends and Susan stared at her and waved at her. Her books were knocked out of her hands and Susan bent down to help her with her books. "Lilith right" Susan asked and Lilith just nodded her head. "Here you go" Susan said to Lilith before rushing after her dance friends and Lilith sighed in content. She held the books against her chest and just like that she walked to her class. "So, you and Susan finally spoke" Albany told her as soon as Lilith sat down in a seat. "I want a nose piercing" Lilith exclaimed to Albany and Albany raised an eyebrow. "You only want that because Susan is into those" Albany pointed out to Lilith. "That's not true" Lilith sighed. 

The next day, Lilith had her nose and ears pierced. It did take a lot to convince her parents to let her pierce her nose especially but she did and she was happy. Susan was at Lilith's locker with her bright white straight teeth. Susan jumped up and down. "Wow Lil, you look amazing with your nose pierced" Susan complimented Lilith before walking away and she was blushing totally. "You are totally in love with her" Levi pointed out to Lilith and she rolled her eyes at that comment. "Shut up" Lilith shut her locker closed. "i can't believe our parents let you pierced something other than those ears" Levi complained to Lilith. "It's because I'm there favorite"  Lilith gave Levi a smirk and Levi rolled his eyes. "Not likely considering your grades are terrible"  Levi joked with Lilith and it was true because Levi worked extra hard to get mostly As and Lilith was fine with being average. Lilith knew her twin brother was going to be amazing in life with the grades he was getting. They were no doubt about it. 

By the third day, Lilith was totally under-deniably smitten by Susan and it was her lucky day because she found herself paired with Susan and she couldn't help but think of how smart and beautiful she was. It was like slow motion movie. "You know Lilith, my friends can be quite jerk" Susan smiled at Lilith and Lilith just nodded her head. "There's nothing wrong with not being straight I mean if you were" Susan continued to speak. "Why you hang out with them" Lilith asked Susan and Susan just shrugged her shoulders. "My parents were friends with their parents. We played together since we were babies. I bet that's how it is with you and Albany, Chris" Susan pointed out to Lilith and Lilith just nodded while smiling. "I am really sorry on their behalves" Susan small smile came out while she was straighten her shirt. "You know you pretty cool" Lilith told Susan while smiling hugely at Susan. "You too Styles" Susan called her by her last name. 

Too bad that friendship never bloomed into anything. In fact when it came to high school, Susan was gone and nothing was going to bring her back into Lilith's life especially after what Albany did.
