Making a Difference (sequel to PDA)

18B: The Real Andy Ashby

It seem strange that Andy Ashby was not a virgin ever since he was 13 years old but when you grow up in a household that the parents have drinking problems and people come into your home. Andy was sitting on his bed while drawing in his sketchbook and writing songs that one could be considered depressing in numerous ways. He heard a knock on his bedroom door which was locked. Andy would always lock his door because he would never want to get another beating. Andy looked at himself in the mirror while trying to cover up this dark purple bruise. It was sickening that someone would hurt a little child like this but Andy knew what would happen if he stayed. The guy came into his room and pushed Andy down on the bed. Andy was screaming begging for the guy to leave him alone but the damage was done. 

It felt like hours that Andy was on his bed covered in his sheets, blood staining the sheets even more so. Tears came down from his eyes like waterfalls. Andy  crawled out of the window and ran down the streets and he pounded on the Styles residence and Harry stood there in just his pjs and Andy just sobbed into Harry's chest and begged Harry to stop the pain. Chris walked down the stairs and saw his best friend hurting. "Andy, what happened" Harry asked Andy and Andy just gripped Harry tighter and Chris pointed out that Andy was bleeding. Just like that Andy was taken to the hospital. 

Chris was worried for his best friend and Harry did everything to comfort his son. Chris eventually fell asleep and one of his friends, Dr. Sheeran came out and he sighed while he looked at Andy's file. "Why does this keep happening Harry" Ed asked Harry and Harry sighed. "i don't know, child services been called so many times" Harry informed Ed. "This is the last straw, someone sexual assaulted him. Right now the nurse is conducting a rape kit test" Ed told Harry and Harry felt sick like he did when he found out Liam's living situation. What does he say to Chris about his best friend. 

Andy went trial but sometimes the court doesn't get it right, sometimes they do but let's take a moment to realize that Andy Ashby still lived with his drunken parents despite the truth of being raped, beaten and so many trips. Harry did everything he could but he could only do so much just like so many people. Andy did appreciate Harry for what he did. Harry wanted to save Andy but it would be too late for Andy to be saved.
