~Levi~
After Christmas break, it was a whole different atmosphere for me. I was lucky that nobody was arguing. It was like everything was working out the way it was supposed to be. I grabbed my backpack and headed into the car. I got the car to drive to school with Lilith in the passenger seat and we even picked up Grace from the house. It seemed like nobody was home. Grace didn't seem happy at all. "Grace is everything okay" I asked Grace and Grace just shrugged her shoulders. "My parents likes to argue at all times. It's just annoying at this point" Grace confessed to me and Lilith. I couldn't ever think about my dad and my mom ever arguing and not getting along at all. "I'm sure everything will work out perfectly" i comforted her while I parked our car into the parking lot. I got out of the car to see my ex-girlfriend she was making out with my enemy. Lilith tugged my arm away from my ex. "Come on Levi, she's not worth it" Lilith nudged me. I walked into the school building and I saw Christian at his locker surrounded by Albany's so called friends. Grace walked into to her locker. I tapped Christian's shoulder and Chris smiled at me. "Um, What's up bro" Chris greeted me and I rubbed the back of my neck. "I need some advice" I gave him an uneasy smile and Chris just nodded and he moved away from his lockers. "What's up" Chris asked me and I sighed. "I need help with ladies" I stated to Chris and Chris raised an eyebrow up at me. "Is this about Emily because if it is, I think it was the best decision for you and her to break up" Chris said to me and I sighed to myself. "I really did like her. I just can't seem to move on" I complained to Chris. "That's because you have yet to try to and probably not ready to get a new girl which is fine" Chris smiled at me. I nodded at him. "Thanks Chris. I think Grace needs some advice now" I advised Chris and Chris just looked at me. "Grace thinks that parents need to get a divorce since they are arguing a lot" I informed Chris and Chris sighed before rushing off to find Grace. I just shook my head before grabbing my books and heading off to my English class which I really hated with a burning passion. I entered the classroom and I sat down in the front in my seat. I couldn't understand what the teacher was writing on the board so instead I started to doodle on my notebook. The teacher slammed her hand on my desk. "What are you doing? You are supposed to be taking notes not doodling" Mr. Thomas stated with annoyance. "He's stupid, he can't read at all" A boy named Paul shouted from across the room and slid down in my chair. "I can read" I shouted at Paul and Paul rolled his eyes. Mr. Thomas just shook his head at me. "Stay after class" Mr. Thomas said to me and I sighed. I was getting used to this, this is what happened with all the teachers that I had but the funny thing is that I could do math pretty good. The bell rang and Mr. Thomas sat across from me. "I swear Levi, that you are so much smarter than what you do in this class. Want to explain to me what is going on" Mr. Thomas crossed his arms. Mr. Thomas was a young teacher and he genuinely cared about his students. "I been diagnosed with Dyslexia at age ten and I just have trouble with letters getting mixed up in my head but I've been working hard on it after school and such. I promise you Mr. Thomas that I will do better in class" I said to Mr. Thomas and he just nodded his head. "Okay as long as you try. You are free to go" Mr. Thomas stated but not before handing some notes printed out. I said thanks before rushing out of my class. I kept my head down while stuffing the notes into my locker. I walked to my math class next. I sat down in the back of the room, I wanted to be unknown. The only bad thing is that Chris was in this class. No, Chris is not dumb, it just apparently I'm so smart that I'm enrolled in the highest math class in the school. I took out my glasses and my pencils. Chris waved at me and I waved back at him. Chris sat down in front of me. "How was your first class" Chris asked me and I rolled my eyes. "How do you think, I'm failing English" I sighed and Chris rubbed the back of his neck. "Come on I'm sure you are not failing" Chris patted my shoulders. "I hate having this stupid disease" I complained. I did hate it, I got teased for it and there's nothing I can do for it. "Come on it's not that bad Levi. It just makes you different" Chris tried to comfort me and I just shook my head. "You don't know what it's like for me. Everything is so much harder and not to mention being different in high school is not good. Chris, everybody loves you" I said to him and Chris was about to say something but the teacher came in. I enjoy sitting in the back because nobody even really noticed that I'm there which does come in handy if you ask me. I copied the notes to the best account of my ability. The bell rang and I saw Chris was walking away with Andy beside him. Chris waved bye. I could never stand Andy but Andy was one of Chris's best friend. I gathered my books and walk out of the classroom. I looked around the halls and everything just froze. I was standing in the middle of the hall. I saw Albany with her soccer teammates, I saw Christian with his teammates and Lilith and Grace were together hanging out. I walked to my locker when I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was the captain of the baseball team. "Hey, you're Levi right" He asked me and I nodded my head. "You going to join the baseball team huh. I seen you in gym class. You're pretty amazing" The captain said before walking away and I was totally shocked about what happened.
