Ch.17: Making A Date

After everything with Albany being targeted with her nudes, police showed up at my house demanding to talk to me. It was such a shock to see the police and let just say that my parents were not happy. I knew that Albany did not go to the police but someone must have. We were sitting on the couch, my parents, Levi and the police was directly across from us. "So can you tell me who this is" the police asked and my dad looked at the pictures and felt sick. "It's Albany Malik" I answered honestly because I wasn't about to lie to the police that would not look good. "look, I don't know who is responsible but I didn't spread it around and neither did Levi" I said to the police. "Yeah my daughter and son are good kids. They have straight A's and not to mention don't go on facebook or any social media sites much" Dad spoke out loud to the cops. "Did Albany take these photos" The cops asked us and Levi was quick to say no. "She's insecure about her body has always been so I can't imagine her wanting to show anyone her body ever" I elaborated to the cops and final after two hours the questioning was done. Levi and I were about to go back to bed but mom and dad told us to sit down on the couch. We did what they wanted. "What the hell is going" Dad asked us while his arms were folded and I just look down. "We saw the photos maybe about a week ago but Albany didn't want us to tell you or she didn't want to tell Uncle Liam. She said it would stress him out more" I informed both of my parents. "This is child pornography" Dad announced to me and I just rubbed my wrist. "Dad, I swear we both tried to convince Albany to talk Uncle Liam but she wouldn't" I said while standing up and staring at my dad in the face. The doorbell rang and Uncle Liam came in along with Albany. He looked stressed as what and my dad led him to the couch. "Did you know" Uncle Liam asked me. "Yeah, we thought we were doing what Albany wanted" I rubbed my wrist more so and Levi looked like he wanted to pass out. "I'm sorry about what Albany had been through but we never meant her to be hurt" I told her father. Uncle Liam just nodded. "Dad, Lilith and Levi have been there for me and I'm not upset anymore" Albany stated but I could see through her acts. It was too bad that nobody could have seen that she was so insecure her body so why would she dared take those pictures. "The police just came by to interview my children" Dad confessed to Uncle Liam and he just nodded his head. "Come on, Liam let's take you to the guest room so you can sleep" Mom advised him and Uncle Liam followed suit. "Guys, I am so sorry about this" Albany kept messing with her long hair. I just sighed. "It's fine but I'm going to head back to bed" I told them and walked upstairs and into my room. I closed my bedroom door. As soon as my head hit the bed, I felt my eyes closed shut. 

I woke up and grabbed some breakfast, and headed to the school. Albany took her car and we both got out of the car. Levi had his own car which Levi been driving in. As soon as we all entered the school, police was all around the school building talking to every student probably because of Albany's naked pictures. I felt a tap on my shoulder and there stood Susan with one of her signature smile placed on her face. "Hey Lilith, Albany and Levi" Susan greeted all of us. Albany wiggled her eyebrows before leaving me alone with Susan. We walked to my locker. "So, hows Albany holding up" Susan asked me and I shrugged my shoulders.  "Beats me, she doesn't talk about her feelings at all. I guess she gets that from her father" I informed Susan. "So I saw the designs you texted me and it's truly amazing" Susan complimented me and I blushed. "Thanks" I told her. "So it's fine" I asked her just making sure. "Yeah, you know Lilith you need to relax a little bit. It's not all about work and school" Susan nudged me. "Hey, there's a carnival, we should go" Susan smiled hugely at me. "You mean together like a date" I questioned Susan. "Yeah like a date" Susan never took that smile off her face and I nodded my head. Susan walked away with a smile on her face. Her hair bouncing up and down and I sighed while leaning against my lockers with books in my hands. I got a date with the Susan and nothing could ruin this day anymore. 

Sitting in class was seriously the most boring thing ever so I found myself doodling more about the dance team costumes and designing how each set for the musical to be made. The teacher kept talking non-stop about something ridiculous. I didn't care at all. I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was Grace. She smiled at me. "Susan told me that you guys are going on a date" Grace exclaimed and I rolled my eyes. "Yeah but you not in this class" I whispered to Grace and Grace just shrugged her shoulders. "I mean it, Grace you should be in your own class" I informed Grace and Grace sighed but she made no motion to leave the classroom until my teacher told her it was time for her to leave. She pouted, she wasn't happy. I noticed that she always wear long sleeves but if she doesn't wear long sleeves, she would wear bracelets to cover her wrists. Something wasn't right with her. I kept thinking of everything that happened since school started. Chris getting cancer again, Uncle Zayn leaving for the navy, Albany nudes on display, Uncle Louis cheating on Uncle Niall, Levi joining the baseball team. This year was supposed to be better than last year or previous years.
